Here is another wonderful diner at Anna Nagar and a must visit place if you want to have an amazing food with your friends. First coming to tha ambience it was neat and with a mild light of golden lights. The service could have been better but the food was great. You can have a variety of Indian and Chinese here and the cost was on par with the other outlets that usually charge on the food. The taste was really good and I personally love both veg and non veg. For people who are not fond of spicy food try to avoid it here but I loved the spicy kick on their dishes. Below are the items that I had. 1. Honey roast chicken (house specials) 2. Chilly fish (spicy as it sounds) 3. Mushroom tikka 4.lemon garlic chicken (had an awesome lemon zesty flavour) 5. Chandini paneer( paneer in cheese one of house specials) This was one of the fine dining I ever had, do try it and enjoy, please apologize if you don't like the food as I had mentioned. Today's Lunch with my hubby and bro @Desi Street Annanagar near chintaamani signal. We had safe dining experience as they followed all Covid safety protocols . Ambience was pretty and elegant. Seating space also very comfortable . Staffs were very friendly . Spacious parking space. They suggested best dishes hence became easy for us to select from wide range Chicken soup Vada pav Chole Bhatura Fish tikka Lemon roast chicken Chilli prawns Kulcha / naan Butter chicken gravy Butter chicken Briyani Desi street sundae To be very honest each and every dish was unique and tasted so good. Don't miss vada pav, fish tikka and lemon roast chicken was just incredible. Naan was super soft and easily chewable . Enjoyed each bite with butter chicken gravy. Coming to my favourite part dessert desi street sundae was top among all. You will definitely love it too.... On the whole if you are looking for best restaurant in Annanagar must visit this place

What a lovely afternoon to spend time with my Sis and my Brother-In-Law. We decided to go out for lunch and zeroed in on @desistreetchennai which is situated very close to Chintamani, Anna Nagar (@googlemaps will show you the exact location). We reached the restaurant by 1pm and parked our 4 wheeler. We started with Chicken Soup which was served hot. It was spicy but tasted really good and was a perfect fit on the prevailing weather on this day. Then we ordered VadaPav. I wouldn't know how the authentic one would taste but this is no less to that in any way. Then it was Chole Bature. I would say you shouldn't miss it. I would give 5 to this without giving a second thought. Then it was fish tikka followed by lemon roast chicken. Both were cooked to perfection. Best part about the chicken was its tenderness. It melted in our mouth. Spices were used at the right proposition. Do not forget to taste this with mayonnaise sauce. It is too good to resist. We then got Chilli Prawns which again tasted divine. We then ordered Chilly Cheese Garlic Naan and Lachcha Paratha with Butter Chicken gravy. This was followed my Butter Chicken Biryani. I must ad it that despite looking so spicy , the taste was stupendous. Their cost which otherwise seems to be high for this dish is justified considering the portion since 2-3 people can have it. It was served with delicious Raita. We finally signed it off with Desi Street Sundae on a Sunday. This is also something you shouldn't miss it. Overall, we had spent little over 2.5 hours which is worth it considering the ambiance inside which was soothing and the attitude of staff which complimented it coupled with great food which tasted really delicious. Recently tried desi street and was super happy with the food. They have cute little place and a wide range of dishes. What I had- Starters - Honey chili cauliflower, Vada pav and bhutte ki seekh. All 3 starters were really good but the bhutte ki seekh just took my heart away. It is an absolute must try. Maincourse - Veg patiala gravy, Gobi fried rice, garlic naan and cheese naan. Everything tasted really good and fresh. The flavours were on point. Quantity wise it is really worth the money you pay, they have huge portion sizes. It is a place definitely worth trying out.

Desi street was in my mind for a long time after seeing all those good reviews in Zomato. Visited two days back. The ambience was really good and they had ample parking facilities. Ordered for 3 starters Mutton pepper fry - Lacked salt but had the pepper lunch Sonali tikka - again lacked salt and spiciness. Chilli prawn - This was crispy, spicy and had a good flavour Coming to the main course we ordered Butter chicken biryani - a different dish which cannot be termed as a 'biryani'. But was tasty. Chicken patiala with breads - The curry was tasty but the chicken pieces were dry. Service was too slow and we had to keep calling them multiple times for them to see us and come to the table . Do not go seeing the reviews on Zomato, you would definitely be disappointed Overall, an average place which can definitely be improved a lot if the service and the food taste is taken care of !

The location is really good . Do Try the Chinese Dishes from their menu like chicken Manchurian, Fish Tikka & My Personal Favourite Dragon Chicken. Ambiance is good & Less Crowded . Definitely give a try when you drop in Anna Nagar . Do try Their Sundae As well . And A Vast Huge Menu to Choose From .

I thank God for making me visit this place. The food here was so good that it still makes me drool. All the dishes were so yummy man oh man. The soup, the kebabs, the fried rice, the Naan, the chicken curry all these were so good. The pricing is also economical. Parking space is sufficient too. Not to forget Mr. Kapil was so polite and the waiter was also so courteous. Over all a must visit place if you want to have a quality time. Make sure to Visit this place before 10:30 pm.
