This is my all time favourite eating place in Star Mall... Their dosa is too good . loved it

The best place for South Indian dishes. All types of Dosa variant are available. Taste good.

Missus wanted to have Pav Bhaji after ages, and "Desi Streat" happened to ruin that single handedly. *slow claps* Tragedy is, I happened to throw in a masala Dosa to the order as well and that was another abomination to the food. The bhaji with the Pav was basically some cabbage leaves chopped into pieces and spicy cooked with onions. Just that. It was horrendous to say the least. Worse came with the Dosa; have you ever heard or seen a masala Dosa being served where the "masala" is served separately in an Aluminium foil and the Dosa is just tossed in with it, neatly folded, in the form of a rectangular tiffin box? Exemplary featuring of a common food. Credit to be given where it's due, the vision is ingenious, the end result? Nose dived into dirt. Bottomline being - these food items are not their forte. They need to upgrade or go away. 2/5 - mostly doesn't recommend. Try at your own peril.

Me and my daughter ordered for masala dosa and dahi phuchka. The masala dosa was good enough as ever but the dahi phuchka dish made and served with stale dahi. We visited on 08.09.2022. We also ordered two dahi bada take away, but we did not dare to consume that as my daughter is vomiting from last night after having consume that spurious dahi phuchka yesterday. When I asked them about that, they tried to convince me that the dahi is not stale at all and they are ready to give me a sample. I asked them what about the dish they served and already tested, which is still lying on the table ? The person called as main chef is actually the main culprit. I want to know from the Desi Treat, Star Mall management, who do you held responsible for my daughter's suffering?

Quality and quantity both are good. Must try Dahi bhade... Price is reasonable.

Counter at Star Mall is good for dosa and chole bature.. not good place to try any chaat.. often they use stale curd for chaat and try to cover the smell with lots of chutney and spices. Not hygienic in these times of pandemic as Staff do not wear mask while preparing food.

So many times I had my lunch or dinner from this place and I am really satisfied with there service. The food are tasty and fresh. I recommend dosa over idli. The only reason I have given a 4star because of the price. The food price could be lower. 135/- for a masala dosa is too much.
