A hidden gem for real. A cozy joint right next to VBHC apartments. Many small joints around, this one stands out. Not too expensive, totally worth it and pretty many options. The food here in Desi food box is very good. Especially the combo pack and briyani is good. The people who work there are also very kind.

On our way to Jawalagiri, just past Anekal and our stomach's rumble. And google led us to Desi Food Box. Quaint unassuming place this. The get-up... Those little benches inside..... Nostalgic!!! Introduced ourselves to Shiva and Rekha the owners/chefs and they suggested we try the Naati Style Donne Biryani and the Pepper Chicken. The sherwa with the biryani and the succulent juicy chicken... Did us in. We just couldn't stop at one portion... It was Finger Licking Good. So very thrilled to have found my new Adda.. Way to go guys!!!

I been here with my family multiple times. I recommend this hotel especially for non veg and because the taste is delicious and hygiene ambiance and service is very good . We ordered here in non veg chicken Biryani pepper kabab it was yummy.higly recommend please visit.
