Worst in terms of hot water availability. Lazy staff ,not sticking to their timings. Food was awesome. Location was great. 300 metres from varkala beach.Rooms excellent Overall- Not recommended.

We had a great time in this resort. Very good service they provide. Rooms are very clean and their behaviour was awesome. Also their food was very tasty. Everyone could stay here if you are finding a hotel near verkala beach.

Service was remarkable especially from manager Akash. He was very helpful and informing me which places to visit at Varkala Beach. I will sure come back here. Enjoyed the beautiful view of Varkala Beach.

Please book this resort if you are looking forward to spoiling your holiday. 1. The condition of the rooms was poor in terms of hygiene and cleanliness. The room and the washroom were not clean when we checked in. We also found a lizard just behind our bed. When we complained and asked them to give us another room, they said that all other rooms were booked, but sent someone to get the room cleaned. The housekeeping staff promptly removed the lizard and cleaned the room, however, the property lacks cleanliness and regular maintenance, which is a big turn-off. 2. They serve breakfast in one of the rooms, which again lacks cleanliness and hygiene. There were flies all over the place. There are hardly any proper charging points in the room, which is again surprising. If you want to charge your devices, you will have to remove the switches of the table lamps. 3. They seemed to have no security personnel for their resort. Our car which was parked on the resort premises, had scratches when we found it the next day. On asking, they could hardly give a satisfactory solution to it. They said that they were unaware of the entire episode. The entire experience of being in Varkala was ruined by the unhygienic conditions and the lackadaisical attitude of the staff. The only bright spot in this episode was that the sandwich, tea/ coffee which we ordered as snacks turned out to be good. I personally, will not recommend staying at this resort if you want to enjoy your holiday.

As usual, one by one. 01. Location:- Near By North Clif, 05 minutes walking distance only. 02. Hotel Ambience:- Swimming Pool is 4ft deep uniformly, not adviced for short heighted non swimmers. Vibes is good but privacy is not there as pool and surroundings are visible from nearby house. 03. Room Service:- Quick and Fast. Staff is ultra professional max pro. 04. Rooms :- Cottage type rooms. Cool and lovely. Beds are ultra cozy and max comfortable beds. 05. Food :- We took complementary breakfast. Avg Food. Limited menu. Also, the ambience of restro was okay okay. Overall, they need to improve food and increase the boundary wall. Rest is okay.

Being in close proximity to the beach was a huge bonus. A short stroll from the resort led me to the golden sandy shores of Varkala's renowned beach. The convenience of having such a beautiful and accessible beach nearby allowed me to easily take morning walks, enjoy breathtaking sunsets, and indulge in some beachside activities. It truly added an extra layer of enjoyment to my stay. The staff at the resort also deserves praise. From the warm and efficient check-in process to the attentive and accommodating service throughout my stay, they consistently went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Whether it was arranging transportation, providing recommendations for local attractions, or attending to any special requests, the staff's hospitality made me feel genuinely cared for. In conclusion, Deshadan Cliff & Beach Resort, is a true hidden gem that I cannot recommend enough. With its delightful rooms, inviting swimming pool, and prime location near the beach, it offers an idyllic setting for a relaxing getaway. Location : Around 250m to beach and cafes Restaurant was not active but buffet breakfast was available. Customer service was good. Swimming pool is good. Rooms looks a little old but very clean. Around 11 total rooms, Good place to stay for friends or family relatives for a private get together ( if we can book all rooms)
