Desert Boy's Cafe - Family restaurant in Jaisalmer - Jaisalmer, India

This cafe is located inside the fort. The place is very beautiful and clean, and it has one of the best view of the city from the fort, but the only issue is, we went there for food we ordered Rajasthani thali (actual photo attached), the baati (rajasthani delicacy) was stale and was smelling quite bad. Also, the cost of the food is little towards higher side, maybe because of the location, but all we expected was good food.

Very friendly owner. They served only drinks in the summer and we were searching for lunch. Even though it was sure we will be moving on without buying anything, not even drinks, he was kind to sit us down in the terrace in the shade, recommend other places, talk to us, and also offered to let us go up to the rooftop to see or take a picture which we did. All in good will, as we were searching for only food which they didn't have at the moment. They didn't even push for getting a review (many other places pushed strongly for 5 star), but I just remembered the place and decided to leave the story here with the recommendation. The place was actually one of the best we've seen, incredible ambiance and view as well.

Amazing heritage home converted into a Cafe and hostel. Authentic Rajasthani food as well as some fast food options available. Had Gatta curry with Missi and bajra roti. Finger licking good food made to suit our non spicy palette. View from their terrace is amazing. Seating area and ambience adds to the feel good holiday spirit.

Fine antique furniture, rich silks, warm carpets and comfortable mattresses and amazing view. Pure vegetarian hotel and restaurant. Good customer service and quality. Food is delicious but costly. Jain cuisine is also offered.

Rooftop restaurant Google confused the route. Night view great from the restaurant. Mixed veg was light could hv been better it's different from traditional North Indian cuisine.

So once n all i want to make a statement this place has the most amazing rajasthani thali in city. I am writing this after trying the thali at 4-6 places all over jaisalmer .. So if you want to try the yummiest thali in jaisalmer , this is the cafe you should visit.. I have been to many many food places all over India n met some of the nicest host but Anil ji has to be the most amazing host among all.. Such a nice n polite person with utmost respect ..
