Very supportive, polite and gentle people are working here in tourism department. I visited and asked for some statistical data and they helped me with everything I asked for. Applaud for these government officials. I have never seen decorum like this in government office.

All the tourism activities , policies and innovations in Jaipur are guided and controlled from here . The building is also in pink and near by railway station . For tourist help or any queries you can directly visit the department and get all sort of information. The officials are helpful here . A new tourist facility centre is being built city in coordination with the department.

Hi I am a guide just Kindly want to inform how at jalmahal some people who have athority to sell tickets for night market but they are taking and selling tickets to all tourist who just want to take photo of jalmahal , It really not good for tourism If this is right number then ok otherwise if any number where I can send maill or WhatsApp

Never travel to Rajasthan in your own car especially Bikaner. Just because your car number plate is non RJ, every traffic constable will stop you and waste your good vacation time despite all documents in place while all locals will pass by without helmet, trippling on bike and all visible violation.

We have booked online for the Jaipur day tour one day in advance and reached the Gangour Hotel ( starting point) by 8:45. The manager here has no clue on how many people are on the tour and he was also not able to open his system to check the same. Upon receiving the call from his MD and confirming the day trip the manager started calling the drivers to arrange the vehicle. Since it was already crossed 10:45 by that time, all the vehicles were booked for the private tours. The 10 people who booked for the day trip were wondering if it is worth waiting and watching for the Rajasthan Tourism arrangements as the day is getting wasted. The lack of resources and enthusiasm and ownership from the department shows the reason why Government tourism is not thriving inspite of the number of visitors in Jaipur.
