Awesome, wonderful. At a time you can enjoy wonderful view of mighty kanchanjangha and river Teesta. All local spots usually made from Kalimpong can be arranged from here avoiding the congested town atmosphere.

Visited in the last month. Had read a lot of bad reviews,but our experience surpassed those reviews. Booked through Yatra, despite checking in late(around 6pm) and notifying well beforehand,nothing starting from room to towels were ready! For 3 hours, we waited for running tap water,where we were said by the acting manager that pump has been started. Where does it take 3 hours to fill a tank?!! Anyway,due to all harassment to us 3 ladies, finally we demanded for shifting to another room. It was the biggest & spookiest & most unscientific room. If you want to sleep with mountain insects/spiders/leeches/snakes, it is good or you!! Thank God,two of them came down the wall of the great room within 5 minutes of we entering it otherwise we would't have understood what was behind those ferns,we decided to run off! One of the walls of that room is not cement,it is the mountain itself (imagine what could have come down that deep forest). WORST ! Total mismanagement.

Resort area is about four acre land full of manicured garden, tea bushes,medical plant and lush green trees surrounds this property.Kalimpong city 30 minutes downhill.Two and half hour from NJP Station and three hours from Bagdogra Airport. View from Deolo Hill is wonderful, particularly on a clear day. Mountain peaks capped in snow peek through the clouds providing a stunning panoramic view.

Although maintenance of the rooms are poor, the Hotel has an excellent location 7 km away from the main town which is pretty remote. However, this also gives an opportunity for amazing views of the Kanchenjunga and Teesta together if the weather is lucky for you. Hence, it is a good choice for those who want a serene, peaceful vacation away from usual hustle and bustle. The Delo park is within walking distance for those who can walk (around 2 km uphill). You may expect no TV connection or poor internet connectivity which is good in a way that will force you to connect with nature :) However, always be prepared with your medical kit in case of any emergency as the city is far away and one is dependent on the hotel transport to take to the city hospital services. There is no emergency medical facility at the hotel either. So be careful and enjoy the view. Best time to visit: After Laxmi Puja or in Winters for best view.

It's having impressive rooms with wide hill view and if lucky can get e glimpse of Kanchenjunga. The grass root level workers are hard working. BUT a lot of negative points binds me to give it single star rating. Reception desk is always empty. Water supply and electrical fittings are illmaintained and dangerous. Food will never be of your choice. Most dangerous is that if you intend to reach ther following google map, then be ware, it will surely land you in a place 7 km away from here. Infact map shows two places of same name. If you call the phone number available on website or booking slip, the person (Manager) will talk with you sitting at Kolkata. A resort being booked online itself is always 100% offline, as there is no computer, no internet, no mobile network. There is no visible board or banner to guide you to the resort. It's a kind of hidden place. But once you get in, you will not think of getting out of that place, because you won't have any option for that. To buy any goods you will have to cough up minimum Rs400/- as car rent if you get one at all.

Myself and my family visited Deolo in Dec 2018. Our brief stay of 2 days in Deolo Cliff resort has left an indellible mark in our memory. The location of this property is just too good. You can view the whole range of Kanchenjunga right from the window of your room. More than the serene and tranquil nature, we were more impressed by the behavior of the staffs, especially the manager Mr Prabir Bose who took personal effort to make our stay comfirtable. Its worth mentioning an incident when I had left my costly jacket in the car as we checked out from this resort and left for our next tourist destination. I had almost given up the hope of getting back the jacket when I just thought of calling Mr Bose and request him to call the driver who was his known contact. Mr Bose not only got the jacket from the driver but he took the effort to carry it all the way to Kolkata and hand deliver to me. What more can we expect as tourist !!
