Den's Beach House - Home Stay in Cheyyur - Chengalpattu, India

I stayed at the Beach House because of an event that I attended. I mainly want to talk about how great the staff was. I have stayed in a lot of hotels and I really don't think I've seen such a large and active cleaning crew anywhere. They were polite and around all the time. I'm someone who basically cleans a hotel room whenever I go in one and this was one of the cleanest rooms I've ever been in. By the way, our group was about 15 people so we aren't talking about a small amount of work. The location of this hotel was great if you want to be close to everything. But there is a very active pool. So if you want really, really quiet...the rooms facing the ocean and pool might not be your best bet.Thank you everyone at the Beach House!

Excellent and budget friendly place for family and office get together and bday party. Courteous helpers and cooks who would be available 24x7 and can cook whatever you ask for. Neatly maintained rooms and swimming pool. I would strongly recommend this place.

This is one of the nicest resorts where we have been to.Staff is very good. Location is Excellent. Food is delicious and hygienics. If you are going with friends, one of the best resort in ECR. budget friendly. The property itself is quite gorgeous .Love this place. It was a really pleasant experience .

Safe location, property is exactly as in pictures, beautiful pristine private beach nearby and a well maintained pool. The caretakers are available round the clock too. The property interiors could be maintained well and we had water clogging on the stairs which is a risk to anyone. They keep on stopping pressure pump for water flow, which was annoying and had to call the caretaker multiple times to resolve that issue. Other than that was a memorable stay

The only positive thing about the place is clean swimming pool and restrooms. Description and photos are total lie. No tv in hall. Two ACs not working. Cockroach in each room to greet us. Stained sheets. Stinking rug in hall area. Strictly dont go with kids. You will return with mosquito bites all over. Not suited for family

It's a beautiful property poorly maintained. The pool and it's ambience with seating and bar set up is the best. If the property owner can take a look into the negatives it would be great. The sheets were completely stained, curtains had fungal stains, lots of flees inside the house, the door handles and some fixtures were broken, spider webs on the ceiling, broken toilet seats and no running hot water. The place is a bit sketchy and no security guard. The actual kitchen is a tiny space next to the kitchen seen in the pictures where you are allowed to cook food for kids or make some coffee and tea. No major cooking is allowed. Three stars because we definitely enjoyed with our friends and family.

I am from Bangalore, here came to visit chennai, it is a pleasant and beautiful place to accomodate in chennai which is very affordable, no words to describe about cleaniness and hygiene of this property, Especially the swimming pool was very well maintained. one of the Best Beach house in ECR. once you come without hesitation, you can have your stay here.

Not suitable for family. Renovation and repair work is much needed for this place. Ambience and location is good, Design of the property is very good. Seepage is everywhere is in the house. Not worth the price we have paid. It shows how the owners are business minded by permitting guests without any doing repairs.
