Deltin Denzong | Casino in Sikkim - Casino in Gangtok - East District, India

The Deltin Denzong is a popular casino in Gangtok and does attract a sizable crowd of patrons to the casino floor. We were a group of four who dropped in sometime after 9pm (got delayed due to heavy downpour). We had to wait close to 20mins to check in and pay for our package as there was another group in front of us that was being processed by the staff. The game floor has a counter where you pay cash in exchange for coins that you can then use at the game tables. The same counter also cashes out your coins in the end. At the table, you can order your choice of alcohol (as per package; they give you a wrist band for identification) and snacks. As long as you are playing, you can continue to order alcohol and snacks. From time to time, performers come on as part of the entertainment experience. The biggest disappointment of the night was the dinner. It was around 11:30 when we headed to the restaurant and most of the food trays were either empty or close to empty. I guess that could be attributed to the time as the kitchen would be closing by then. Kindly note they do provide complimentary pickup and drop service so commuting to and from the casino is not a hassle. Also - photography on the casino floors is not permitted. Although their website advertises a "celestial experience consisting of fascinating blend of opulence, dazzling entertainment and gourmet cuisine" the overall experience felt pretty okay.

PROS: Excellent location. Beautiful views. Nice food ( close to awesome). Polite staff. Ambience is very good. Rooms are spacious. CONS: If you get a room on 1st floor and above, you have to take the stairs. When weather gets humid, it difficult to stay in the room. No AC or fans. Enjoyed the stay here.

Very good experience. Casino is at international standard..hospitality from entry to exit was amazing. Dealers and pit bosses were sociable too. Very diversified visitors from different parts of India and friendly bunch to have fun, except one or two cranky local gamblers. Must visit place in India and surely better than casinos in Goa.

The only casino in the city which operates 24x7.. Good crowd and professional staff

Recommended place to visit in Gangtok, a must include experience in your itinerary. They offer pick and drop service if your stay falls in their radius. The staff is very helpful. Hygienic and good ambience Food is well cooked and good. Talking about casinos there are live performances drinks and nominal packages to start playing. The entire staff is helpful well trained and greets everyone with a smile.

the casino here is very nice entertainment. various food packages are made for entry ranging from 2500 to 4000. there are lots of games, there is dancing entertainment, the bites are excellent and drinks also.. slightly disappointing dinner though which is in the main hotel..
