The zoo I recently visited left me awestruck with its remarkable blend of education, conservation, and entertainment. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by a vibrant atmosphere brimming with diverse animal species and enthusiastic visitors. One of the standout features of this zoo was its commitment to animal welfare and conservation. The enclosures were spacious, meticulously designed, and mimicked the natural habitats of the animals, allowing them to roam freely. The staff members were knowledgeable and passionate, providing informative talks and demonstrations that enhanced my understanding of the animals' behaviors and conservation efforts. The variety of animal species was truly impressive. From majestic lions and tigers to playful primates and exotic birds, every exhibit showcased a different facet of the animal kingdom. I was thrilled to witness rare and endangered species up close, such as the elusive snow leopard and the giant panda. The zoo's efforts in breeding endangered species and reintroducing them into the wild were commendable, instilling hope for the future of these beautiful creatures. Apart from the animals, the zoo also had an array of amenities to ensure a memorable experience for visitors. There were well-maintained picnic areas, restaurants serving delicious meals, and engaging activities like animal feeding and interactive shows. In conclusion, this zoo provided an exceptional experience that combined entertainment with education and conservation. It left me with a profound appreciation for the wonders of the animal kingdom and a renewed commitment to supporting conservation efforts. I highly recommend a visit to this remarkable zoo to anyone seeking an enriching and enjoyable day out.

I got a chance to revisit my childhood when I planned to visit the zoo. I went on a festival day (Dussehra). I have to say I had forgotten it all as I had visited once when I was a kid. Be prepared to walk a lot since it's vast. However, now there are battery operated ferry rides available too. I would suggest buying the tickets online in advance and have something before you enter the zoo.

For families, Delhi Zoo offers a great day out, with picnic areas and recreational spots for children. It's an excellent opportunity for kids to learn about wildlife and nature in an interactive way.
Good place to visit with kids in good season but not in Summer. Biggest zoo of India, with good electric vehicles service inside the zoo. Animals are in good condition. Avoid visiting in any case on Sunday.
Booking ticket online is the only option hence don't wait to reach and book tickets online, rather book in advance. Management 5/5 Hygiene and Cleanliness 5/5 No canteen service inside the premise which is good in a way hence better no to travel empty stomach as the tour takes minimum 2 hours and it's a fun overall. Have been to few Zoo's of the country and would rate 2nd best zoo so far based on my experiences. Had a better experience at the Kanpur Zoo though. For me the show stopper been the African Elephant. Few suggestion - 1. Do carry a water bottle 2. Avoid carrying food as security check won't allow 3. Eat before entering the premise 4. Better to keep map of zoo handy 5. Do take rick service, saves energy. 6. Avoid public holidays 7. Book tickets in advance
Nice place to visit.. But it would be better if you reach there in morning around 10am then you will have pretty much time to explore the zoo.. I visited around 4 o clock.. Many of the major animals were went into the cages so couldn't enjoy. Ticket
