We have ordered - mishti doi ( sweet curd) , kamla bhog, malai roll , jalebi , samosa, tea and churmur chat. Out of that only malai roll , samosa, jalebi, churmur chaat and tea was good rest of them was very bad .
Simple street food with reasonably good sitting area in the heart of busy police bazaar. Shopping is incomplete without Street food. Fast moving fresh items, all the items on menu may not be available as they get over quickly. But you will enjoy anything you order.
This place looked nice, and I went in because they had some nice looking sweets and chaat. I was extremely disappointed, with the taste, service and ambiance. First of all this place is not at all clean and the service was terrible. The jalebi was okay-ish and the papadi chaat and badam milk was tasting so bad. For the price, I think it is better to go somewhere better. The staff was very rude and had to be called several times just to take the order, even though there was not that many people. I visited this shop on 2 different occasions but they didn't even have half the items listed on their menu. To top it off, While eating some random young person who was talking to waiters and came to our table and started asking us to give him the juice. Even when we said sorry no, that kid kept asking, it was very uncomfortable for us. I would not reccomend this place. I would give 0 stars if possible but it isn't so I am giving one. Better spend your money elsewhere. Waste of time, energy and money.
A much sought after North Indian sweetmeat & light refreshments shop in the heart of Police Bazaar. It's pretty crowded most of the time & they run out of stuff by the evening. I saw that they had run out of samosas at around 1930. It points to heavy footfalls & possibly, the absence of any similar outlet in the vicinity. Saw fresh jalebis being made although the rabri had run out by then. We only bought the mini samosas & the fried kabuli chana, as we'd gone there for the snacks. They also serve chaat & such stuff, which appears to be good & much in demand.
I would like to explain this place in just 3 words: TASTY | EXPENSIVE | AVERAGE SERVICE And also overall experience was okayish. I was roaming around the streets of Shillong for some local shopping to be done and happened to see this outlet, bit crowded and also by looking at authentic Delhi style chats on the menu which tempted me to enter. I ordered Delhi chats and these people have a weird procedure to take our order. First you should order whatever you want from the counter and get the bill, then find a seat yourself, then wait for the waiter to come to you and take the bill from you to get the dish you wanted. If you go to the counter to get the same dish they won't hand it over to you, unless it is a parcel. So, if you're too hungry and visit this place you have to wait till you get a table and the waiter reaches you, that was quite bothersome. When it comes to sweets and chats we had, everything was excellent in taste and perfectly spiced up. Pakka Delhi style. Overall a good experience, when you're around this locality, I would recommend this place for chats, though it's a little expensive for that locality.
I have to say, I enjoyed every single item that I had. I had one breakfast course meal, with a couple of sweet items. Considering the quality, the price is reasonable. Ideal for those who want to have snacks. There was also plenty of room for group of people.
Situated in the heart of police bazar, loved the jalebis , samosas and dhoklas. Everything is fresh and sold at reasonable prices. It is always a go-to place for tea and snacks every-time I visit Shillong.
I ordered dahi puchka in swiggy where items should be in different container. This is what i got. And they take order only if they want. They take money and dont confirm the order in swiggy. Even the shop, With the lights they make it look good the shop but inside the restaurent very dirty , messy. Whoever is commenting good, those are themselves and their own people.
Two favourite things about this clinic: Firstly, the entire staff is very polite, and secondly, Dr Mansan will always explain everything in deep detail and in the simplest way possible. This really put me at ease when I had to do my surgical extracti
