This place is not meant to be visited alone. The dishes have a good amount of quantity that is best when shared. The atmosphere is packed and noisy. It might not necessarily suit everyone. The menu they offer is more in the traditional style. This may not be the best place to visit if you are looking for something more experimental. An average affair if you ask me.
Service and food was superb. Ordered the maharaja thali (unlimited). Quantity, service everything was perfect. Just a suggestion to the management is to please serve roti/Nan only at the time of having them, yesterday it was served early and by the time we were having other starters and chat, it became dry. Otherwise it was all perfect.
The food is really amazing and tasty. The quantity is also amazing. I would recommend the hot and sour soup as a must must try. The veg jalfrezi subzi is also yum. The only drawback is that the service is really poor it takes 30+ mins to deliver things. Not sure if that's regular but i had this experience when i visited.
the seating is amazing but the ac wasn't working while i visited so the experience of enjoying the food declined.
Dinner at Delhi highway, egmore.all items were good.but service was bit slow since we went for ala carte and most them were for buffet dinner.tomato shorba was good mild spiced.paneer tikka was soft.cheese tandoori aloo was good.naan, aloo paratha was ok.paneer side dish was bit salty.dessert rabdi was good.overall good experience.can improve customer service.bill attached.price of each item mentioned in the bill.used swiggy dine out coupon and got 20% discount on overall bill
Tried the Thali here , Food was good , Place was neat ,but nothing to boast about! The atmosphere was almost dead ! Waiter's mood was as if they are working for name sake ! A one time visit place !
Have been to this restaurant for dinner. Overall the experience was just good. Even going on a weekday, the service wasnt as expected. They were quite delaying in completing the order. The food was good. The ambience was also good. Overall still a nice place to visit.
We tried the Maharaja thali. Can be shared with kids < 5 years. They charge half price for older kids.
The number of items are limited, listed in the menu of the day. Quantity is unlimited though.
Taste is good but all items end up in a sweet flavour, so can't eat much.
Waiters bring down the mood a bit. Felt they were bit laid back. A strong contrast to other buffet restaurants. They only speak Hindi and it is a bit hard to communicate in English.
A one time visit considering food and service.
We went for Lunch on Sunday! The place was crowded and we waited for around 25 mins.
Food taste was delicious but the service was not upto the mark. The waiting time between dishes served was too high. We had Maharaja Thaali. Recommended to visit on Weekday rather on weekends.

This place is supposed to have a legacy since its been here for a long time but for some reason, it is alienated from the restaurant ecosystem. Decent food. The ambiance is old school and nostalgic!
