The place holds a historical significance in Karanja-City between the Gates.
Its such a shame that its not maintained at all. It has been closed for 4 years for the sake of maintenance and no work is done till now. This is the case when the route is important and there is no optional route that goes side ways. Another example how our government has completely demolished the value of historical city Karanja.

This Delhi gate has been kept closed for 4 years, it has become very weak, they do not even repair it, one day it will fall, people will lose their lives.

Now it's use in road to entrance. Now it is in better condition. Many people's are visited daily this place.

Just 2days back I visited to Karanja and was deeply saddened to see the condition of Delhi Gate.
Why MLAs and local leaders have become so irresponsible and careless about their own City?
Shame on them who says that they work for development.. See how bad the roads are, no proper water supply no public work just selfish politicians and everything else is there except cleanliness & Human values.
It's historical place but not like to visit specially for this

Karanja was ruled by Nawab Subhan Khan, whose "mahal" is currently used as a Municipal Council Office. His Godowns is used as the Karanja police station. He has built a lot of structures around Karanja Lad. He constructed a wall and four doors around Karanja, namely the Delhi Gate, the Darwha Gate, the Mangrul Gate and the Poha Gate.
