We were searching for a some quick food joint and luckily we got Delhi Darbar express at Nariman Point. Pay and Parking available on the main road. All the option from mutton kebab to kheema to panner bhurji were lip smacking. Falooda after the good food was like a delight. Luckily this place was empty on a Sunday afternoon. Ambience is nice not like the usual Delhi Darbar which is know for exemplary and magnificent experience. Overall quick delivery of food and staff is good.

Great quite place to have some delicious bites with the authentic north Indian taste. Ambience is good, price is decent, service is excellent. Must try chef's special paneer tikka masala and biryani.

The Delhi Darbar Express has a very concise menu with Delhi Darbar favorites in a casual dining setup at more reasonable costs. The menu has some of the most delicious Mughlai food you'll ever come across. Right from the starters to their gravies to their renowned biryanis. Here is a detailed review of everything we had:- BBQ Platter A platter consisting of a variety of appetizers such as the Chicken Tikka, Murgh Reshmi Tikka, Malai Tikka, Mutton Kebab and Chicken Seekh in a set of two. Quite delicious in taste but quantity good only for two people. Chicken Tangdi Kabab (Recommended) Tandoori spiced chicken drumsticks are grilled to juicy perfection and taste absolutely phenomenal. The best starter of our meal. Chicken Tikka Roll Tendered chicken tikka roll, that tossed with onion, pepper and sauces. Good enough but more like a small bites. Crispy Golden Chicken Crunchy chicken strips tender and seasoned well. Tastes good with chutney. MAIN COURSE Chicken Bhuna (Recommended) Boneless chicken pieces smeared in tomato based gravy and in fresh fragrance of ginger, garlic and bhuna masala. Quite relishing and mouth watering. Butter Chicken The ever favorite butter chicken, quite rich and mixed spicy. Totally worth it. Reshmi Makhni Paratha Soft like rumali roti but flaky at the same time and with a pinch of butter all over. A delight to have with the gravies on offer. As a part of desserts we were served the ever favorite Gulab Jamun and Ras Malai. In the form of refreshments, they had some fantastic Mojitos to offer. It was a perfect end to a hearty meal.

Delhi Darbar has been one of favorite place to dine in. Food is always amazing and the service is excellent. Recently I have visited their new outlet in Nariman Point which opened 8 months ago. It is one of the legendary restaurant in Mumbai. What I tried Mutton Seekh Kebab: Missed the juicyness. Loved the punch. Bit spicy. Texture was good. Mutton Boti Kebab: Succulent and tender kebab made with perfection. The dish was so delicious and with really good flavors. This delicacy to be relished and definitely recommended. Butter Chicken: One of my favorite dish and I was expected creamy butter chicken gravy. The gravy was more like Chicken Tikka Masala gravy which was spicy and with strong flavors. Chef has to give more attention towards this. This is basic. Roomali Roti : Uncooked roomali roti in between. Again a basic thing. Butter Garlic Naan: Perfect one. Mutton Biryani: The place is famous for its Biryanis. I feel it was very dry. It was not tasty like it used to be. I guess they were just making big batch. Caramel Custard: Without any doubt do order this. Such a comforting and elegant dessert. Overall, this place can be better. Just need some fine tuning and clear basics. We came here and had a lovely dinner with plenty of options on the menu. The Mutton Biryani Family Pack we chose were delightful. I would recommend this spot if you have the time for it. A must visit place with your loved ones !!

Delhi Darbar Express, Nariman Point, Mumbai. Last week I visited this place. Its a casual dining place with good interiors and beautiful lights. Staff here is very friendly with fast services to the respective tables. I had best selling food dishes from the menu: *Murg Malai Kabab: 5/5 These delicious kababs were aromatic, succulent and delicious. Boneless Chicken pieces were marinated so well with cream and spices. Creaminess and deliciousness can be felt in every bite. These have become my all time favorite kababs here. *Crispy Golden Chicken: 5/5 Deep fried chicken strip coated with flour, seasoned perfectly to make it soft and delicious. I enjoyed Crispy Golden Chicken with Schezwan. Crisp from the outside and soft, juicy from inside. *Mutton Seekh Kabab Roll: 5/5 Minced mutton spiced with various masala's and veggies rolled into a thin cooked rumali roti. It was tangy, spicy and yummy. Delightfully awesome. *Dabba Gosh with Butter Naan: 5/5 Dabba gosh was basically a dish made with juicy boneless mutton pieces in a semi dry gravy which had fried eggs, boiled eggs, spices and topped with crisp fried noodles and coriander. I enjoyed Dabba Gosh with crisp butter naan. Gravy was cooked extremely well &tasted good with the butter naan. It was spicy and flavorful. *Chicken Biryani: 5/5 I always love Biryani which has lots of delicious masala to it. And thats the kind of biryani it was served here. Chicken Biryani here was extremely delicious. Chicken pieces was marinated to perfection and cooked extremely well with the spices and good quality Mughlai Rice. *Shahi Tukda: 5/5 Its a fried sugar syrup coated bread, topped with Rabdi, Pistachio, Almonds and Kesar. It was very sweet, simple and fragnant. Fragnant of Kesar & Crispness of dry fruits were the best part. I'd recommend people visiting here to have Fresh Lime Sofa, Murg Malai Kabab, Crispy Golden Chicken, Mutton Seekh Kabab Roll, Dabba Gosh, Chicken Biryani and Shahi Tukda.

Great experience, fresh, well prepared, obvious that a lot of care goes into each dish. And prices are also reasonable A comparable meal downtown would be much more and not in an enjoyable atmosphere. Their Veg Biryani Family Pack is must try ;
