Deepar Beel Wildlife Sanctuary - Wildlife park in Guwahati, Mikir Para Chakardoi - Kamrup Metro, India

The place is really scenic and especially during the evening the sunset looks really beautiful, apart from it the place is usually very crowded as people from every part of the city come to this place. This place is also a elephant corridor so often you could see elephants. This is a must visit place and especially during the evening you should visit this place.

After crossing the hill view point of Deepar Beel, you can get into this place. This is a small boundary and park like place, from where you can watch different bird species. There is a watch tower in this place to have the view of the whole lake.

Good place for an outing. It is too crowded in the weekends. But the environment is awesome. During October November, migratory birds can be spotted. Worth exploring.

Beautiful place to watch sunset.. Splendid view... Also you find migratory birds during winter, I wish the tourism department plan a something for this place.. It can be a bird watching paradise or a splendid sunset view point.

Its good but not like before when it used to be pleasant place for weekend and yoga, meditation, or relaxation

Nice place to spend an early morning or evening.The scenery is great where variety of migratory birds can be seen flying in the backdrop of a beautiful lake fed by mighty Brahmaputra.This place also has a Range office of the Forest department here to look after and observe the migratory birds.There are quite a few demarcated Elephant corridors from where the Elephants come from the hillside towards Deepor Beel for drinking water by crossing the Railway Track.

Serenity despite the railway track disturbing the peace and harmony between man and forces of nature. Great place for hangout with friends. One can find local fish sold by nearby fishermen.
