Deep Resorts - Hotel in Puri - Puri, India

Excellent location if you like staying in popular place and in the middle of city's hustle bustle. Otherwise well maintained but we faced outage of water one evening for almost 3 hours in our 2 nights stay.

The experience was really bad. Construction work was going on. Did not get the booked room on the first day. The rooms were very costly. But the room and amenities were not upto the mark.The balconies had one bamboo structure which prevented us from getting a sea view.

We tried out Deep Resorts for the first time during our recent visit to Puri during the Rath Yatra festival 2023. The hotel is located on the sea side road itself, beside Puri hotel. Commuting to anywhere is quite easy from this location. Initial observation while checking in- it is a very clean and well maintained hotel having support staff to help you at every step. We entered our rooms, which were again clean and timely prepared before our entry. The view from the balcony is soothing. We booked the side rooms on the back side and not the front sea faced rooms, but believe me it was worth it for us. Room rates are quite reasonable. What we liked even better was the food quality. It was awesome. We tried the Bengali cuisine for all the 3 days we stayed and every time we were delighted by the taste, the quality and quantity provided. (FYI- The hotel has its own restaurant section, all under the same roof). Our entire stay there exceeded our expectations and it was more than satisfactory. Kudos to the management and all the Deep Resort staff. Will visit again!

We booked three side view (back) room with balcony. And the view is just awesome from our rooms. Situated in swargadwar. However there are some cons. The intercom doesn't work maximum time. The lift doesn't work when there is a powercut. There should be a generator to operate the lift during powercuts. Also the rooms need some modifications. Some lights don't work. The remote of AC doesn't work. The rooms are quite old. Otherwise it's great.

This is my 2nd visit in this resort but a lot changed over a year. Location of the property is good apart from that nothing justify the tariff they are charging. Behaviour of the manager is highly unprofessional. Zero room maintenance bed head board missing, fan not working, washroom flush not working, dirty curtains and bed sheets,small dead flies and insert are all around the celling but above all the most disgusting thing is the manager's behaviour, when intimated about the problems, they didn't felt a bit apologetic rather they argued and tried to justify. They are forcing the guests to have food from there in-house restaurant where there is no sufficient staff available and you have to wait too too too long for your food and even after that the quality of the food is not satisfactory.

Worst experience ever! We took the cottages( ac super deluxe) (room no 405 406) there was no intercoms available, the lift was not working when there was no electricity.. having leg pain and walking to 3rd floor every time was really a pain. There are no hangers or hook in the room( so called super deluxe) to hang the clothes. The lights were very dim both in room and in washroom. There were no soap stands.. the basic amnetities which we have at home also even was not present and they call it to be a super deluxe. Horrible rooms and horrible managers. We travel via car from many years and first thing we ask is for parking. They didn't inform us that construction work is going on and we have yo park our car far miles away. Anyhow we managed parking there only but you will have hard time taking your car out from the queue because they don't inform other car owners in advance. We had to wait for an hour just to check out. We informed the night before that will check out next morning so that they can shift the cars well in advance but they just didn't bother to do that. At last, I would only say even if there is no rooms available in PURI we won't stay here. We might drop our plan to visit puri but won't stay in Deep Resorts.

Location of this hotel is very good. But resturant behaviour and service is very bad.need to increase more staff. Management of this hotel is not such good. They need to improve there management. Otherwise permanent tourist of this hotel like us will not be chk in for any further. Requesting owner of this hotel to pls look after those matter specially Amit babu is horrible person he didn't know how to attend there guests. Mr Amit thinks that he is next to owner...

The only thing that is fantastic is the location of this hotel. Just on the beach beside Puri hotel. Hotel is a bit old and toilets need renovation. Room service is ok type. We booked the side view room. Next time definitely will visit this hotel with the sea facing room.
