De Shell Restaurant - Biryani restaurant in Gundlupete, Panjanahalli - Chamarajanagara, India

This is very good restaurant with tasty good and good variety of cold drinks and shakes. There is no other good restaurant on this stretch for a good distance . . Decent parking inside the compound and enough parking outside . We tried veg and egg dishes and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Fill yourself well before you head out towards Kerala which a forest area or Bandipur which has no place to eat.

This restaurant serves a very ordinary and tasteless food. Staff is in their own carefree world not bothered about the customer's presence. They are reluctant to accept any mode of payment other than cash for obvious reasons. Any such restaurant is best avoided as anyway there are many better options around.

Very less staff. They can't handle all customers properly in weekends. Food quality is average.

Decently good restaurant with reasonable pricing. Parking for 8 cars. Helpful staff. Reasonably clean bathroom (there's only 1, but it's not very crowded) - ladies can use. In this stretch there are only 3-4 restaurants like this. There's scope for improvement (some items vanish during weekdays and lunch, another, better bathroom, etc.) so 1 star deducted. But still good, nonetheless.

Loved the food and the super fast service. The menu is less but very nicely prepared. You get anything and everything in the menu within 5 mins. The juices very pretty fresh and tasty . For the price and the super fast service, the perfect place to eat on a long distance drive.

Restaurant was really bad and non veg food was preserved and old . Chicken biryani had chicken pieces which are preserved from long time and served you by heating in oven. Chilly chicken and chicken lolipop had same old preserved chicken pieces. The menu display at the entry gate showing todays special which is for throwing out the old chicken which is preserved and want to serve befor its expiry. Cost for non veg itesm where too high. BIRYANI rice was very low quality. Do not visit this hotel. NO customer will be there at any time. only 2 to 3 staffs where there who were watching colors tv .once you go there they pretending as working.I felt that they are not at all interested in working as no customers are visiting there. Lady manager/staff do not know how the quality of food. As she is not aware of the chicken quality. She was telling me about the complaint from customers in past for non veg items. But she doesn't have any solution. I like one good thing is that they will save electric energy. As they will switch off the lights as customer left the restaurant at night. Final word do not visit this restaurant while you are on family vacation it's will ruin your expectations for your trip.

An average restaurant on the highway. Looks pretty good from outside, but food and service not to the expectation of the ambience they have. Predominantly a Chinese cuisine and of course some south indian options available. Visit only when you don't have much of options.

De Shell is a well situated hell scape. We went there for breakfast one fateful Sunday morning. There were telltale signs of a booze fuelled party the night before. A disgruntled waiter approached up while putting on his brown banyan. I should've taken that cue and raced out of there, but there was no other joint for miles. The idlis were pale, flaccid and smelled like bat's armpits. The chutney warm, frothy and bubbling from fermentation. The sambar made in the tummies of the party goers the night before. The vadas were like aerated droppings, preserved in grease. De Hell!
