Considering other accomodations available in Kohima ..it's a value for money stay...good kitchen with a wide variety...courteous staff
Rooms can be a little drab for some but the hotel has good service. The staff is really nice and the (vegetarian) food in the restaurant is mild flavoured, decent.
The Oriental Grand made our Kohima stay memorable and comfortable. We booked Zen Suite at very last minute. The suite was perfect and beautiful. Heater was provided complementary and was necessary in the month of December. They serve complimentary breakfast. The food was very good. Be cautious while ordering Naga style curry though you are habitual to spicy food. The curry will be super spicy. There is ample parking space available. Dining area is spacious. We enjoyed our stay

One of the premier restaurants in Kohima which can cater to the needs of State guests and VIPs. I love their cuisines, desserts and cocktails. Their waiters are also polite and welcoming. They have ample parking space which can easily accomodate 40 to 50 cars if spaced properly. The environment is not so noisy as it's not in the middle of any busy marketplace. The air quality is comparatively good and those looking for a holiday can find a home here. Guests are in good hands. Their rates are affordable and yet worth every penny.
The conference hall, reception,guest room,food everything was well organised. Best place for social gathering's and if you're looking for luxurious stay one should opt this De oriental Grand hotel.

Very impressed with the room service. Though few days it was not that good, only because they has set the standard so high. Very very polite and professional people, from reception to restaurant to room service. Nice and clean rooms. All facilities are included, the radiator works well too. Special mention to Kenihyuelo Hothryng Vethivolu Their service in restaurant and serving us in the function hall was outstanding. If I come back to kohima-, will definitely stay here.
