De Huts is a quiet and serene Irish inspired homestay with beautiful gardens and colorful flowers. The property though is in town vicinity which is a huge advantage to move around, you won't feel the hustle of the town because of the property and its surroundings. The ambience of the stay is like a second home and you will have the privilege to own the entire property if you book it full. 2 big bedrooms and big spacious halls with lots of couches makes it on par with luxurious stays.
And what more to say about Uday, Mohan & the sweet lady ( forget her name) who cooks along with Mohan. Super cool people who are ready to oblige any requests we put forth. Udhay makes sure we feel comfortable and goes to the max to ensure it. He even bought meds for my toddler at night time when I requested him.
On the whole De Huts - it's not about the money, it's the experience. Such a heavenly place.

This place is very nice and comfortable. The food served here is delicious and Mohan who works here is a reliable and helpful friend. The owner makes everything we need. My family and I had a great time this summer.
We stayed there for three days,the whole experience staying in the property was so good they made us feel like our own home...The food was too good and worth for money...They maintain the property so clean and we loved it
What to say except awesome experience. De Huts gives you a home away from home feeling. Udhay and Mohan were so hospitable and we enjoyed our stay there. There are 2 bedrooms and a living room area, 24 hrs hot water facility,Food was home cooked and we enjoyed our barbecue outdoors and the food wasn't that pricey also it was so affordable. Our car broke down and we had to move our stay to a hotel nearby since we booked the hut for only 2 days but Uday called us and supported us with mechanic numbers and followed up till we sorted it out and left safely back home. Please continue the hospitality same way. It's so rare nowadays in hospitality industry.

De Huts is a quaint villa with a private compound. The compound is lush green with lots of variety of flowers! Ample space to walk around. We had gone with 2 pets and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Uday was very helpful and suggested some hidden gems which we would not have visited otherwise. The caretaker Mohan and the cook were also very helpful. We tried the dosas, idly, chicken and biryani and I must say every dish which we ate was mouth watering. The icing on the cake was the bonfire arranged by Uday in the cold winters of Kodaikanal!!! The place is centrally located i.e. walking distance to the kodaikanal lake, by car it takes about 5 mins to reach the downtown. I would definitely recommend De Huts to other fellow travelers. Thanks Uday and Mohan for the hospitality and making our stay super comfortable.

I had the pleasure of indulging in some truly delicious hot chocolate, which I savored from a beautiful handmade ceramic teacup. The combination of the hot, rich cocoa and the smooth texture of the ceramic cup made for a truly delightful experience.
