Great place for river side camping. Cooperative and adjustable staff, Day 2 Day camping is the best place in Barot valley to stay and to get refresh yourself. It's location is also very attractive which is situated at exactly opposite the dam.
Amazing place. You get the view of complete valley. You could cross river and have a look at water reserve, but don't try to cross directly it's slippery and risky, find a better route ahead. Food is great at the place, fish and rajma are the specials. You can book a local guide and go on nearby treks, it's really beautiful around the area. Enjoy
This is not at all a paid review. We searched for this place on google and saw good reviews and went there. Trust me all the reviews felt so right. We stayed for 5 days and everyday was worth it. The hosts are so sweet, a beautiful family of 3 They made us feel so homely and that too in the very first hour. They have a rabbit, a dog, few fishes, a beautiful farm, everything so perfect. Devish (their son) , so lovely and intelligent kid. Had so much fun talking and playing cricket with him The couple are so hard working and true to their work, they not only want to make it a better place for the guests but also try their best to make it as homely as possible. We ate, danced, went to the waterfall, chatted, all together with the sweet family. You must visit this property with your friends and trust me you will land up here writing your beautiful experiences. We felt so right that we were also planning for a bachelorette party there Hopefully soon I can go on and on and on.......... But Thank you so much , we loved every bit of it See you soon.

It is good quiet place for vacation. Tents are good and food is also tasty. It was few nearby treks and waterfalls. Overall a good stay.
It felt like home! From the aloo-stuffed parantha to the rajma-chawal each and every thing was filled with love. Accompanying us to the waterfall and building up our confidence to go inside the ice-chilling water was really nice. We would've regretted otherwise not going inside for a dip. This was by far the best experience i've ever had. Really should visit this place. Kudos to bhaiya and bhabhi. Can't forget the special mention - Daivesh. He is such an intelligent kid. Keeping us busy will all the amusing questions really made us learn a lot of new things. He is indeed going to be a scientist one day. It was worth coming to Day 2 Day camping as it is located at beautiful site. Further, Manmohanji and his staff make it more comfortable and friendly with their behaviour and hospitality. We will surely visit next time.
