Dawn Hill - Family restaurant in Gangtok - East District, India

The food was really very good. We entered in the Korean restaurant. The view was really very beau, we'll get the beautiful view of Gangtok. We ordered two dishes both were delicious. But the service was not so good. I think the staff were less because only 1 staff was managing the whole restaurant.

Would not recommend it, ordered mutton rogan josh 4 pieces. Out of those 4, 2 pieces were a bone with no flesh and a piece completely made of fat. When complained nothing was done abd they said 'sir ye toh aise hi hota hai'. I'm from Lucknow you don't preach me kaisa hota hai dude Service was slow even though there were no more than 2 tables being served. Not recommended.

DAWN HILL, a fresh new addition to the Gangtok upmarket restaurant scene. It's a good effort by the management, the menu is extensive and the ambience is one of a kind overlooking the green valleys amidst the bustling Gangtok town, but the food on the plate is not quite yet there. Let's just say that the X factor is missing. Don't get me wrong, it's good but not quite quite there. The occasional live music scene adds to the festivities there but the place doesn't quite have the acoustics for live music. I'd rather just go there for the food and the ambience. It's unique and worth a visit.

A very nice restaurant cum bar to dine in both vegetarian and non vegetarian food with family...a nice ambiance and natural scenery to enjoy looking outside while sitting into...the sitting arrangement is very comfortable and of different styles...the staff is very cooperative and delivery is fantastic...it also has the option of happy hours...the washrooms are very clean and Upto the standard mark...it is situated at Namnag Gangtok.

The atmosphere of the place was on point however the service was very poor the staff was new and inexperienced the food delivery was very late and the food being expensive but poor in taste is a big no for me. I would like to see the changes and effort in from them in the near future as of now its a no go for me. Good luck.

Refreshing, beautiful, picturesque We climbed up the hill through a well built walk way to MG road. On the road, this Down Hill hotel was situated where we had a cup of tea to refresh ourselves. Beautiful views made our evening.

Good ambience, amazing location. The live music performance and the lightings are great. Food menu - options can be increased . Drinks - more variety of beers needed. Service - Needs improvement

Great service and ambience. The staff are courteous and their behaviour is just awesome. The food was great and the mocktails were splendid. A good place for food and quality time.
