One of the best schools in Haldia is DAV Public School. It is located in Haldia Township. In this place a few years ago st. Xavier's school was located. It is famous for very high standard education and good cultured atmosphere. It also has good quality of teaching staff.

don't judge dav from outside. This is probably the worst school in haldia. The classrooms are broken . They don't even clean the classroom. They are very dirty. The toilets are extremely unhygienic. Public toilets are more clean . They conduct examinations every month. Students don't even get time to study properly. No rules and regulations. Even teachers smoke inside the school premises. The secondary section is even worse. Senior girls often get pregnant. The boys were found smoking inside the toilets. The chemistry lab doesn't have enough safety. Maximum teachers over here are worse . They don't teach properly. Even government schools are better. Don't admit your children in dav. They will fail even if they are good students . They will develop bad habits . They don't have sports day. Boys and girls in dav are the worst creatures in the world. The English teacher can't even speak properly in English. They don't know how to pronounce certain words properly. Please don't go for the infrastructure. Request to all the parents to admit their child in some other private school or in some best government schools. NEVER SEEK ADMISSION IN DAV HALDIA.

Best school in Haldia. Academic results are praiseworthy. Each and every year students of this school deliver the best results. Although there are many mushroom like outgrowths (new schools that now dot the landscape of Haldia) yet this school has the maximum student strength. It believes in providing quality education.

DAV is taking too much new teacher who cannot speak english they are totally empty by knowledge.They are changing routing every week.They are taking each and every student in the school.I have taken a disition to leave this school and join another cbse board school. Trust me dav is good school but recently it has turned to a horrorble point. I am the present school student in school in 2023.
