Daund chord line, a small railway station and a bypass of Daund junction in between Pune Ahmadnagar line. It is in out of city . It is clean and nice place. I visted here once. Here are not more train stop. It is a bypass of daund junction. Before bypass all train are stop on daund junction and change engine, which train goes to ahmadnagar. But now trains goes Ahmadnagar directly through Daund chord line without touching Daund junction. It is good thing because it save time and get less energy that's why save money. station required more investment to give the facility to the passenger like hotel, passenger waiting room, enquiry centre and ticket counter for local trains. It is a single line station and have only single platform. If you see the station in google map then it seen between green field away from city.
Small station but herr all the Pune route Train is used to stop.

It's newly builted railway station to minimise the rail traffic on the routs of Pune-Kurduwadi station.. Cleanliness is good.. Not fully developed but quite good.. Calming station than usually.. It is used to divert the trains towards Ahmednagar from Pune..
Very good initiative by Indian railways to create cord line. It's save lots of time for the trains going to manmad from Pune or vice versa as now it's don't required to change the locomotive location. Also the turn view is superb in mansoon time.

Good for railways saving money and passengers going to Pune and Goa. ***But very difficult for the passengers comming from Manmad who who want to change/board trains at Daund junction for their on going journey to Hyderabad, Bangalore*** Humble request ans Hope Railway Authorities provide with electric vehicles to help passengers to travel to daund Junction.
