One of the oldest temple in that location it's almost 100 years old but due to floods 3 to 4 years ago the temple was gone but it should re construct again.
I have always liked this place. The roads that lead to the temple are narrow but the temple is beautiful.
The old temple has been completely demolished. And the Bala alayam is poorly maintained. There is no one to take care of devotees during darshan and no archana is performed. You only get to see the padhukas (foot wear) of dattatreya swamy in the balalayam.
I just cannot explain my experience in mere words i highly recommend this temple for anyone who wants to experience something different from the normal this temple of lord dattatreya is just mind blowing, mind you that the temple is being reconstructed , currently the temple is inside a function hall right next to the temple and this temple has a kalyani of it's own as well please do visit this temple.
Beautiful guru Dattareya temple is in Hosakerehalli. Very old temple now it is under construction. Nice inside the temple guru Dattareya and saibaba are there. Nice to visit with family. Very less parking space available in front of the temple.
Presently temple have been demolished & all the idols of god have replaced to "Sri Anusuya Mandir Conventional Hall" next to the temple itself, one can visit there.
The place is located in ORR road .. peaceful place ... they provide Prasadam (lunch) everyday .. good place for relaxing
