Daswal B&B Hotel - Bed & breakfast in Madikeri - Kodagu, India

Pros: 1. Budget hotel in prime location. Near by to many places in Madikeri. Other hotels I checked were way too expensive compared to what they offer 2. Rooms were neat and clean. We got a booking because of help of the host at the last minute 3. The host was really friendly. Guided us through the places and helped us get a jeep for our off road adventure to Mandalpatti peak 4. Breakfast was really good Cons: 1. No room service & No proper wifi 2. One man show - managed by one person and over the course of my trip, I haven't seen any other employee there 3. Issue with hot water. Intermittent availability 4. Narrow approach roads and there was some road work going on because of which we faced some difficulty driving by car Definitely recommend if you're looking for budget, calm and easy access to public transport stay. Would recommend booking with breakfast included cause it's really good

The property is located at the heart of the city and all the tourist places are accessible from the location. The best part about the property is the owner's active participation towards adhering to the needs of guests and ensuring that every minute details have been taken care of. Breakfast and food is one of the best in the town and they provide really good service towards their customers. A definite place to stay if you are looking for good service !

A true value for money!! Wonderful property. Felt like home away from home. Staff is very welcoming and courteous. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Hotel is well connected and most places are at walkable distance. We will surely visit again !!

1. Highly not recommended and wonder who have 3 Star to that. 2 No house keeping and cleaning facility, only one boy was there to look after everything. Hot water facilities were pathetic, two days took bath in cold water in the that cold weather. 3. Breakfast was taken from somewhere outside which was again not filling ones. 4. Plug points and lights were not functioning inside the room. 5. Charged 6400 for 2.5 days stay and got the feeling of staying in a low class lodge.

Hotel situated at City centre..accessible to all locations..good view from the balcony..overall food stay and worth the money.. go for it

It's a one star hotel with no hot water facility in that cold weather. And no power backup if power goes.

Nice stay with a budget of 2.5 per room per day. But the hotel management team assured internet (Wifi connectivity) for the rooms that we booked but when we reached there the room was not included with the Wifi facility. We needed it as we were working that day. However the hotel management provided the room with a wifi signal which was there from their office. The cleaning and waste clearing process is very poor here. We placed our food waste outside the room on the day we checked in but it was not even cleared after 24 hours. Also did not ask if the rooms needed to be cleaned up or not. We were there for 2 days but apart from the cleaning part, everything else was fine. Parking space is there and also breakfast was included in the package itself. Card payment was not there and when asked for card payment, they provided the UPI QR code. Also, this spot is near the Coorg city/town and there are lots of spots to visit nearby like Abbi/Abby falls, Museum, Fort, Omkareswara temple..etc. Try this spot to stay and let me know your thoughts and reviews. It's a very nice place and the rooms were very good. Kept it cleaned and help was there always by the staff 24*7. We had breakfast for 2 days, it was good both the times. Mr. Keerthi was always there to help us and guide us to see the nearest places and also any help we needed while staying there. We would love to come back here next time. We can book from their websites directly or call the number to check availability. Overall it was an amazing stay.
