Dassam Falls - Tourist attraction in Tarub - Ranchi, India

A very beautiful place. The view is awesome. Nearly 33 km from Ranchi and road conditions are very good. Driving through the road is a great pleasure. Then the view of the falls is mind blowing. You have to go down some steps also to enjoy the scenery. I bet you won't regret visiting this place. There is also some food stall. Reach early morning, Take some time to spend here and you will return with some peace of mind.

It's a natural beauty yes you can take a shower in the falls.. Good for a ride it takes a long 10km off road passing through a remote village with a good road system good to have a traditional food there try not to take plastics...

The best waterfall in Jharkhand state. Beautiful. There are not too many stairs, so all can go down to the falls and enjoy it. I just loved the place. Surrounded by hills, jungles, greenery all round.

Nice fall, less number of stairs & decent eatery options. The stairs were closed after a certain point, probably because of rain resulting in high water level. View points were created at multiple levels, some better than the others. All of them had a good amount of space for the crowd.

Most beautiful falls. Absolutely loved it. One can see from above. Very less stairs to go down. There are resturants to eat. Beautiful villages on the side of the road leading to the falls.

The place is also known as Dassam Garh. The major water source of this waterfall is River Kachni, which falls here from an altitude of 144 feet. The unique feature of this fall is that when the waterfall is seen, 10 water streams are also seen falling. The Dassam Falls is 40 kilometres (25 mi) from Ranchi on NH 33 or Ranchi-Jamshedpur highway. The Dassam Falls is a natural cascade across the Kanchi River, a tributary of the Subarnarekha River. About 40 kms from Ranchi, this is indeed a must visit place in Ranchi. Its off NH33 and has to get down over 300 steps to reach the landing level. The fall which is across Kanchi river is beautiful falling from an height of 144 feet. The Dassam Falls is a natural cascade across the Kanchi River, a tributary of the Subarnarekha River. The water falls from a height of 44 metres (144 ft).

Nice place for enjoy your weekend. Good place to go with your friends. Picture turn out great. The place is covered with dence forest. Water fall view is pretty amazing. The local here sells food and drinks also. For photography this is very nice place. Weather here is also cool. Add this in your next adventure place and enjoy sight seeing. Mesmerizing view of the falls. I visited on a rainy day. The place is nice and there are so many spots where you can click photos as well. Overall a very good place to visit with family as well.
