Dasaprakash - South Indian restaurant in Noida - Gautam Buddha Nagar, India

If you're in spice mall earlier called Modi mall, its the best place to dine in. Everyplace be it haldiram, Domino's, the chicane club is nothing with comparison to dasaprakash's taste and price. I had South Indian mini thali worth 299 rupees which had lemon rice, curd rice, bissi bulli hulli Anna, papad, masala idli, 2 medu vada with sambhar, rava kesari made in Desi ghee as they told. Best South Indian platter I had till date, served on banana leaf in a thali. Everything was delicious. Papad was crunchy, lemon rice tasty like the rice is cooked or dipped in lemon. It had curry leaves which added positive points to its taste. Bissi bulli hulli Anna is sambhar cooked in rice adding some other things in sambhar. Medu vada had a crunchy crust. Masala idli was broken idli having several ingredients and spices. Literally Everything had a tadka of mustard seeds, beside papad and rava kesari which is semolina (suji) halwa for North Indians. Beside they offer three chutneys alongwith your dish. I liked onion tomato chutney above coconut chutney, mint & coriander peanut chutney. One negative point is you would be greeted by mosquitoes there. Dining would be challenging if mosquitoes would be surrounding you. Don't worry they said they are working on it. If Taste, quality, hygiene,is priority then do visit. I was unable to move after having their mini thali, it was much for me. Taste was so good I haven't left anything.

I loved dinning at Dasaprakasha since childhood. Their unmatched south indian cousin left my taste buds with the goodness of spices from south. The one situated in spice mall in noida has a cool and calming ambiance. The food quality is above amazing. Service is excellent and you much try their gulab jamun.

Big disappointment. Service and ambience were hugely lacking. Food is okay, nothing extraordinary. I had heard much of this place from friends (probably visited other outlets of this chain), and I had seen some positive reviews about this place so I decided to gift a dinner to my parents on their anniversary at this place. What a big mistake it turned out to be. Even after reserving our tables in advance, there was no proper place for us to sit. One man was serving food, seating guests, and taking orders. One man. Then a second person joined them later. All the staff were in casual clothes. No uniform. There were 6 of us in the family. We were given a table under the stairs (with the edges of stairs dangerously out to hit anyone getting in or out -- who adds a table there is what I'm still wondering). Then we waited approximately 15-20 minutes on a practically empty restaurant for our order to be taken. And another 15-20 minutes for it to arrive. If the wait wasn't enough to kill the appetite, the unclean plates and spoons sure did. There were water marks, spots, etc pointing to a very hasty job. In fact, when we sought a replacement, that too was not properly clean. Plus one thing that particularly got me frustrated was the badly formatted menu card. The spacing was missing and it was a task to figure out the items (just look at the attached images). All in all an avoidable place for the food is average at best, in a place where the ambience and the service badly lets you down.

Went there for family dinner. Worst experience. The name is there but the service has depleted too much. Faced following issues: - we were informed that masala dosa and idli are out of stock - food took 20-25 mins to come - decor and ambience was very bad. Bulbs were missing and the place did not have fresh vibes - Butter naan was having coal deposits on its back. - Waiters picked up glass and plate even before the drink and food were finished

So we have been regular customers of this place since the day it has opened. Until last few visits our experience of food was good, but since last 2-3 visits, the place is getting unhygenic day by day- major mosquitoes issue, smelly tables/sitting area. We were served water, which had plastic and dirty glasses. Staff doesnt wear gloves kr maintaines utensil hygiene at all. We ordered Ghee Podi Dosa, Masala Dosa, south indian khichdi and Hakka Noodles. The sambhar was uncooked completely, khichdi wasnt cooked in ghee and no nuts to be found in it as described in the menu. When we complained this to the manager, he laughed and said this is how sambhar is, we dont serve bangalore taste sambhar here. As if this was our first time eating sambhar here! We asked him to compensate for Plastic water, and bad sambhar, to which he said we cant do anythinf for it. The manager was shown the picture we took of the glass, which he immediately deleted & said that u cnt complain now. This created a heated conversation and luckily my mother also took a picture in her phone!After a long conversation,manager agreed to his mistakes and compensated by giving 10% discount n packed another dosa for us. We left the dosa packet at counter mistakenly n when we went back to pick it up, the manager and staff were discussing how they shouldnt have given discount to us. I mean what a pathetic and ill mannered staff this place has! They have no sense of talking or treating the customers at all. This place should immediately be shut down!!!

Service quality and speed is worst. Major lacuna in service and very much improvement is required. Routine dosa took more than 30 min to prepare and served.

The food here used to be good as well as the service but now it's not as good as before. The food taste is just fine, nothing too spectacular or memorable. The main gravies/curries are overpriced for the quantity provided. Even the butter naan that cost something around Rs100-120 did not justify its size. Usually fine dining restaurants would have bigger naan but here it wasn't satisfactory. As for service, the waiter or attendee didn't listen to us even when we called out multiple times, we had to leave our seats to capture their attention. Even the salad provided was too bland as compared to the last time. I will not be recommending this place to anyone.

Courteous staff, good food... Never have I tasted such delicious food. Specially Mr Padam sigh was humble and approachable and made our experience grand.
