Seating is not available, which can be little uncomfortable. Only high tables are available to place dishes. A must try..!!

Das Khaman is a well known, reputed and famous Farsan house in Ahmedabad. It's origin is in Ahmedabad and the main branch is near Nehrunagar circle. It is working successfully since 1922. Apart from Khaman and khandvi, this place is well known for Patra, sandwich dhokla, rolls and many more Gujarati snacks. Today, I visited their Navrangpura branch. The location is at the main road and is easily visible. I ordered one plate of Sev khamani and Tum tum Khaman each. To my surprise, the taste of Sev khamani was exceptionally delicious. The balance of garlic, spices, Khaman and sev was perfectly maintained. Along with it is served sweet yellow chutney. Having tasted the food at Nehrunagar branch, I was a little upset with tum tum khaman. As I expected, Khaman would be extremely spicy and tasty, the case was the opposite. Infact, I found instead of spiciness they might have just tossed it in kashmiri red chilli powder to impart the red colour. Yellow chutney is served along with it. Cost: 35 Rs per plate To conclude, it's a great place to enjoy Gujarati Farsan and fulfill your cravings.
Das Khaman is one of the best places for Gujarati snacks with lots of varieties. Their Navrangpura branch is also a very good one, easy to locate just next to the traffic signal on main road. It has sufficient space with tables for breakfast, wash basin, drinking water fountain and dust bins all well arranged. Very good place for early morning breakfast. The 2 things I had were:- -Tam Tam Khaman -Sev Khamni Tam Tam Khaman is what I liked the most. It's unique tangy and spicy taste is something I would strongly recommend to try out. Must try 'Tam Tam Khaman'. The only negative thing about this place is that it is expensive and quantity is less. 1 star deducted for it. Still worth a visit.
One of the authentic shop of Gujarati snacks items... Specially visited for Sev Khaman ... Taste was so good that we had ordered the same two times .. Owner is also so nice that he has given one mix dish of few snacks items complementary .. All are tasty .. Also tried Cheese corn Rolls ... It was also yummy... So if you are in Ahmedabad, please visit for awesome Gujarati snacks items... Enjoy
