Very nice place for kids, rarely wild animal you will get to see, birds peacock, rabbit, easily seen on the way. Ensure to ask binocular to driver while booking safari, try to go in 1 st slot 2pm. Bears are too far from the place we can see. U can Enjoy Jungle view from the top. Visit charges 300Rs per person but you can book whole vehicle for Rs2000.
Went for safari, though didn't find anything during the safari, we could spot Bear's from the top view point. It's worth going. Ideally you should be booking especially when going during the holidays.
This is a must visit place for any wildlife lovers. As this is India's only sloth bear sanctuary . You may spot leopard if you are lucky .you may find many species of birds too.
You can spot some bears from the watch tower if your are lucky. Binoculars are provided by the staff.

We loved the safari. The tickets were not very expensive. We got a private tour at just 2000 rupees. They also gave us binoculars and the staff carried a very professional camera. The staff members are extremely talented and hardworking. They were fluent in Hindi and Kannada. Our guide Mr. Srinivas and driver Mr. Srinu helped us spot so many species of birds and lizards and the Sloth Bears. Here I have also posted a picture with our guide and driver.
Wow do not miss. Bears peacocks and so many birds can be spotted from watch tower. Guide gets the binoculars. It's beautiful to see the bear. A nice educational center is also coming up. Enjoy the first scene. The canal drive sunset mind blowing.

If you have an ethical issue with wild animals being tempted by bait to come out in the open sighting, then this may not be the place for you. Otherwise, the experience is good.
