Maximum paisa wasool, located just in the heart of Darjeeling Hotel Sandrup is the ideal place to stay on your trip to the Queen of the Hills. It suits all budgets, very friendly and homely service, rooms with the view of the mountains and the bustling town, and above all is the mesmerising view from the terrace, which of course you will have to put some effort to climb up to, but the heavenly joy that you will experience is worth every penny. Best hotel in the range of your budget. Thanks to the manager and staff of the hotel for making it a pleasant stay!
It's like 50-50.. because... Rooms are very good, and the view from the room and rooftop is awesome... You can clearly see Kanchenjunga... But, stuff is not available 24*7.. Even they don't receive calls every time.. Also if you asked for hot drinking wait they don't provide it in the morning..
Overall a good experience. We stayed for 3 nights average rate was Rs1300 per night. The caretaker is well mannered and food was also good. To sum up, it's a value for money property, close to the Chowk Bazar.
Budget hotel. Young people can reach mall in 2 mins. But the route is not at all suitable for senior citizens. Rooms are ok but not that good . Rooftop is the biggest plus point. One can get nice view of the Kanchenjunga from here provided the weather is good. Food is good. Service is something worth mentioning. In season the rates are higher. Normally you can book it within 1200-1500 may be.
The behavior of the hotel staff is very good. The manager is friendly. Room service is also very good. Hot water and everything needed was provided right after check-in. Strongly suggested to stay here. I have given some pictures taken from the roof of the hotel for clarity.

Excellent rooms and service. The staff and receptionist Ajay were very polite, warm and welcoming. Only drawback is the location but they arrange pickup also for you. Enjoy your stay here.
Good Location Only Drawback is to climb up 80-90 Stair.....!! Every Room is having Window...But You can view the mountain from top floor..
