A decent restaurant. Food is good but not great. Well located and easy to locate. Location is nice and ambience and interiors are simple. Keep clean, stay green and keep Darjeeling clean.
Despite being located at the mall,the price is very affordable. If you want good food within your budget it's a great place for it. Only poor thing was they need to improve the ambiance.
Situated right in the middle of one the most beautiful places in Darjeeling, the Mall square, this eatery thoroughly impressed me due to it its simplicity. Due to unavailability of chicken, we ordered Egg Thukpa and Egg Fried Rice.The Egg Thukpa was perfect in all aspects, it can be considered a perfect comfort food jn the cold climate of Darjeeling. Unfortunately, the Egg Fried Rice felt a bit bland. Hence rating this eatery 4/5. Would definitely like to try this place once again for other items from the menu.

Located at Chowrasta and cleverly put up near Mall Market and Mahakal Market, Darjeeling Diner is a sweet little eatery with interiors, minimalist in theme. I was on a solo date after a long walk and this place seemed like a hidden gem among the hyped ones. I sat around a corner and gazed down the menu to pick something delicious. I ended up ordering for myself, a plate full of chicken wontons and a stack of pancakes. Wontons did live up to my expectations and tempted me to the core but, the pancakes failed miserably. Its appearance convinced me of an utter failure and boy! I was absolutely correct. I also ordered a bowl of Chicken manchow soup for my mom and she loved it. Hence, if you want to try this out, I would strongly suggest you to go for savoury items.

We ordered one chicken thupka, which I did not like personally and couldn't even finish. We had also ordered two rolls (veg and egg). In both the rolls, salt was on the higher side and sauce in the filling was way too much. Neither my mother nor my brother liked the rolls. We had also ordered one veg thali, which was average. Lastly, the (Darjeeling) milk tea, we ordered was also disappointing.
I had a bad experience at this place.. I order food for 10 people..and owner confirmed the food to be ready in 30 mins.. However it took more than 45 mins just to start preparing our food.. When we followed up multiple times they hurried and somehow cooked and served us ... Food was pathetic..specially chicken.. Was really disappointed and worried if we might fall sick but luckily we all were good.. I hope they will do better. Think before you enter..
