Great place for quality water activities ..but got to stand in line during weekends. Worser part is the partiality done by the organizers of aqua woods and government officials , they send their known people ahead while others stay longer. That's a shameful thing of government officials pulling strings

If you would like to spend a weekend getaway amidst woods doing some adventure activities in Western ghats, dandeli would be on we off those places to be considered. You have plenty of resorts along the River side. Accommodations are decent enough and if you would prefer to have a tent stay, certainly you can have those. Resort owners are very friendly and they can arrange for campfire if you would like to gel along with your gang and create some memories sitting by the fire side. Few of the resorts have provision for rain dance as well. You can consider a package where you get three meal course included. Prices are reasonable considering that it's a tourist destination. Signals for majority of the phone operators are either weak or no signal. So you are cut off from the rest of the world to enjoy your moments. Considering the water sports, you have quite a few to consider. You can get all these in one package and all put together costs you 1050 rupees. This includes zorbing, kayaking, rafting, and zip lining. In zorbing, you get into a cylindrical balloon in which you try to push the balloon. During the course, you tend to fall upside down many a times. It appears simple, but it requires some amount of stamina to enjoy this for a while. In case of zip lining, you are tied with a rope. You slide through the rope and eventually land in the water. You have a person waiting for you to pick you into the boat to drop you to the banks of the river. If you are scared of heights of water, initially it might scare you. But nothing to worry at all. In case of kayaking, you can prefer either a single rowing or double rowing boat. They give you instructions on how to row the boat. Though you have life jackets, it might scare you if you are rowing individually. The most exciting of all is rafting. Though this doesn't come close to what we have in Rishikesh, but certainly an experience by itself. The guided person has a go pro to capture your moments. They would charge 1600 rupees per boat (8 persons) to capture these moments on go pro as well as a person with dslr clicks the pics at the right moment. During the course he gives you instructions on how to row the boat. Overall it is thrilling. During the peak season, there's lot of waiting time and for each activity, we need to wait for at least thirty minutes. Certainly you end up making good memories.

Wonderful experience. Best place to enjoy with friends. River rafting was the best part among all the activities. Need to pay Rs600 per head for river rafting. It's worth it for 600 rupees. Pics and videos will be taken in go pro and DSLR cam and can get it for Rs1200 per 8 persons.

Very well planned water sports centre. Precautions are taken first. Proper training are given first. The river depends on dam water. Unfortunately when we visited the water level had dropped and it was totally depended on the dam water release for the water supply to rise. No time fixed. When ever there is need for power generation, the water is released from the dam.

The shop owner is great guy. We went on Diwali day, the shop was closed, but when I called the number, he immediately responded and coordinated all activities. The water sports happen in Ganesh Gudi. This is only kind of business office.

It's a good place to enjoy and do some activities. River rafting is good but very short, They will do drills and training for some 20mins and actual rafting is about 3-5 mins at max.. It was fun but very much hyped as well. There are changing rooms and restrooms with decent maintenance and ample parking space to accommodate many cars. Overall a good experience (3.5/5).

One of the best experience. It is the best place to do white river rafting on Kali river. The water is so fresh and sweet. The long river rafting is best to experience the whole which costs Rs 1500 for 11 km which includes 9 rapids.
