We stayed here on 16/11/2023. Location of the property was very nice. But the property was required to be maintained properly. Geyser was out of order. No room service was there. Quality of Food provided was horrible. We all got sick after taking dinner.
No other hotels with the view of chitrakote waterfall like here (cottage 203 ), its cottages are awesome. a little mantainance required on entire property, the cafeteria cum dinning hall area is wide, little away from cottages which can be difficult for old aged guests, tasty food but service is slow and limited menu items, no room service, Huge campus, Surrounded by nature, Rooms & cottages are on higher pricing. Best part is walkability to chitrakote falls. Boating facilities available. Another highlight is that there is an Interpretation centre built with outside walls depicting tribal people, way of life, culture thru drawings. Though centre was closed but a nice place to understand the tribal village life and their culture. Overall stay experience was great.
Apart from location, in every segment the Resort is a big ZERO. Its basically overhyped. There is no room service. Foods(limited options & available only if atleast five hours prior ordered) are excessively overpriced. The dinning hall is almost one kilometre far from cottages/rooms. The entire property isn't well maintained. I will not suggest this resort.
It was my first visit to this resort with lots of expectations of having enthralling experience. But I must put all sides of my opinion So I'll keep the honest part in every aspect Location - It was just nature and nature Campus - It is large & average, it may be great if it was planned properly Rooms - Seriously pathetic for the price and not at all worthy of this much price. Not maintained well, it could have been better since it is representing Chhattisgarh Tourism. Very Poor room service (On asking for extra bedding they gave us a bedsheet which is used in Indian railways linen services, it even has its print) Food - They have only limited number of options, varieties not available Cleanliness & hygiene - The management must take this seriously to cater better services and retain it's credibility because somewhere it's lagging behind

The resort is nothing like it looks. There are 22 cottages and only one room has the view of the waterfall. They charge 3k for a deluxe cottage and 5k for wooden cottage which excludes amenities and any meals considering its a government sponsored property. The restaurant/canteen is dirty and smelly and the staff not very courteous. They wont take spot bookings even though rooms are available and neither will they provide you with any help. There is a wifi connection in the canteen but they wont provide you with the password and the place doesnt have any network coverage available so without wifi you cant do a spot booking through chattisgarh tourism website. The waterfall is open to public so staying at this property for such high prices which does not include any amenities or meals is not worth it. Its better to stay at a nice resort near jagdalpur where they provide you stay and complimentary breakfast and dinner for 3k and there is no network issue and they also have complimentary wifi.
This place is rediculous and everything is overpriced . I letrally ordered kadhai paneer of full plate which costs me 180 rupees and the portion size was only of 2 table spoon they are only looting people
Great place for visitation . One can glance Nature beauty, very cool and calm place. One can explore woden and cemented cottage. I like this place very much.
