Dana Pani is located on the main road of Pahalgam. The place has a huge following. The tables are very compact and its impossible to settle a large group. We tried the Kadai Paneer, Dum Aloo with Tandoori Roti. The Kadai Paneer was delicious and the Dum Aloo is not to be missed. The roti are served super hot. The Dal Fry was delicious as well. Overall, a must try if you are in Pahalgam.

Located in the main Pahalgam market, this place serves nice vegetarian food. The quantity of items is quite good too. Loved how juicy their aloo gobi sabzi was. Their breakfast options are pretty nice as well. The mix veg paratha was so good. Their tea set is also quite nice and comes in a small tea pot that can be easily shared by 3 people. Complete value for money.
Unlike Srinagar where it was hard to find good vegetarian options , pahalgam offers many vegetarian outlets. Dana Pani is the best one. Tried Dal makhani and panner butter masala it was amazing, sarso saag and makka roti was average. Breakfast options are also great , do try chana bhatura for the breakfast. P.S. uncle at the counter is always welcoming and smiling. He gave us excellent tips for shopping clothes and buying pure original saffron.
