Should be protected, it is connected to kassalong forest (Bangladesh) which is a possible tiger habitat in this area. Both government should take a initiative to increase wildlife as its wild.

According to 2018 census, no tiger was found. So even if some of the villagers want to accept compensation as part of the project, if no tiger was ever found, then why forced those who don't welcome this reservation project. So, a tiger life was important than human life.

Dampa tiger reserve is very rich in flora and fauna, but it is not much famous due to the state government neglects it maitainance. For researcher, most of the lands and its inhabitants are virgin. Do come visit and see how rich Dampa is.
