It was a nice lake with minimal entry fee. Boating and other adventurous activity were there. There was a restaurant also but we tried roadside sugarcane juice. Camel ride was also there. Good place for family and friends.
Nice n quiet place, nestled in the laps of the Aravalli hills. There is a small lake in the hollows between the hills, with boating facilities. Next to the lake is Haryana Tourism's resort, with well furnished lovely rooms_ a decent restaurant n Bar. This place is good for a weekend visit, to relax & unwind
This time we visited the Damdama property in month of June end and after 10 years there is no evolution. Boating starts around 10:00 AM.(at your own risk-no life jackets) Food quality is okay in the restaurant. Prices are pretty good. Adventure sports were not active at that point. Please call before visit for the activities. I found there is a lot of scope for water sports and activities, management should work towards enhancement of this place.
The resort appears cool, didn't stay! Went for just boating but it is not overpriced BUT rather not worth the money... 200/- for 2-3 people for 1 paddle boat and that too for 20mins!
Honestly, this place has the potential. But it needs a lot of development and attention from the haryana government. Currently, it's not worth visit. But there is a restaurant inside the building which is really great. You can try paranthas, Lassi, Tandoori paneer tikka etc. Very good food at affordable price.
It is a nice place to visit in monsoon. I have been here 2-3 times but this place is best in monsoon. Too much cafe options you will not get here. There is only one restaurant. Will suggest to visit this place in weekday as weekends are overloaded with crowd.
I took my parents out for a visit last weekend (end of October). The weather was pleasant but the lake was mostly dry. There was boating happening in some parts of the lake. There are games and camel ride options and you can top it off with lunch at the Harayana tourism hotel and restaurant beside the lake. Overall it was a pleasant experience.
It is a very large lake in between the Aravali hills. I went in winter so the water was less but in the rainy season, it looks better. You can do boating , padal boats, gun shooting, camel riding , zipping and small games there. Overall it is good.
