Dalma - Restaurant in Bhubaneswar - Khordha, India

Food was average as per experience. The bamboo mutton dish was not well cooked. Fish was fine, but not great. Both these were listed in the "dishes of the day" board. Sweets were great and the veg dish was nice...it was called dahi bengan.

The quality has deteriorated over time for this restaurant. The mutton curry is the worst dish in the menu. Even any road side dhaba sells tasty mutton curry in bbsr. The thalis are over priced as per it's taste and quality.

Food experience was strictly average, tried Chhena Tarkari (Curry), Mix Veg with Rotis taste was somewhat like being very homely but done with less effort... Food pricing & quantity/taste even wasn't justified. Service was quick & prompt tho. Overall atmosphere/ambience was like an odia house with a casual hostel-like seating with soothing ambient music. They had the potential of being among the best restaurants if someone were to try authentic odia food but don't know what route they took over the years it's been going downhill lately. Hope some changes they do to reclaim their long lost recognition among the odia masses/the tourists coming to try some authentic odia food...

We tried Odia food at this highly rated restaurant in Bhubaneshwar for dinner yesterday. The food was freshly prepared and absolutely delicious!! The Mushroom Curry was outstanding!! This is our first trip to Orissa and we will definitely patronize them before our 3 day visit ends. The restaurant is on the first floor with limited parking up front. One can get parking on side streets. The restaurant was well lighted and the service was friendly and professional. Thanked the manager/kitchen staff on the way out - impressed with the excellent food preparation.

We are coming from out of orissa. Trying out dalma and mustard based curries for first time. Pohala thali Tastes good but too many thorns in fish. Fish gravy was new taste and good. Special thali is average. Chicken thali is good. Chicken gravy tasted good. Zeera rice and dalma is very good. Potato curry in thali tasted well. Also tried pampet fish fry. Good.

Very disappointed with the food n service.. the rice Quality is very poor if you are looking for Pakhala.. they told rice was Cooked last night so you have to adjust even after changing the rice.

If you are from the north or western part of India then I'm skeptical about it. Personally I didn't like the food. Service was also not so good. Non veg food was average. Don't try pronze not worth it. Veg was also average.

We went for dinner here.a small place with family crowd.. food was Just okay..am not feel the authentic taste that they provide before..we ordered Masala dosa,chilli mashroom n mix chaowmin.. Dosa -3 Chaowmin -4 Chilli mashroom -1(it's too Hard feels like am chewing a Rock)
