We stayed there from 15 Nov to 18 Nov but it is very bad experience every morning we didn't get cold water as well as hot water It is very pity to live there for 4 days Do not book this because it gives the address opposite ghat No 17 but actually it not a resort or hotel it is house boat .If you want go to sri nagar market you can not go because nobody is available to drop you to this houseboat .The boat man also asked for money for dropping there. Food quality is also not that much good . You can't get hot water at any time. There is no heater in the room and they do not give hot water bag . We booked 2 rooms with 4 beds and 3 beds but they give just one hot water bag. No body gives proper reply Many visitors left the hotel due to many problems I request you not to book this hotel because it is not on the road it is inside the hotel so of you want to go out you have come out by boat and for that you have wait for 1 hour every time . In the night there is always noise so you can't sleep properly. Breakfast is not ready till 8.30 so you can't go to Gulmarg or Pahelgam early . It is very bad experience please do not book .
We stayed at Dal View Resort on 24th and 25th October, 2023 in a 5 beded family room with cozy bed and all basic facilities. It is a resort but you can say House boat because it is located behind the house boats. They provided us free sikara for up and down journey every day while we were going to sight seeing. They also provided us nice food and snacks through buffet. Their service was just tremendous and memorable for us. We paid only Rs. 3500.00 per night with breakfast and dinner.
Dal lake water is soo dirty. I can't even touch or want to see. What ever u expect from this hotel ,It's not lik that. Dont book hotel online . 1st visit here then book. Never book hotel inside dal lake. Always book on road hotels.

I like the house boat place with good food good service, all sikhara guys and houseboats cups were very polite with respect. I love the way they were giving respect to others. Sahil bhai was good.
Be sure before booking. They will tell you this is houseboat. But it is not actually a houseboat. This is a resort behind a houseboat. I booked and while went there I told them I don't want to stay. Then they changed me for boat. And even they don't say a single sorry. And the manager behavior is rude.
Feels like home , everyone is very friendly and co-operative. Our host here Altaf Bhai has made everything very convenient for us. Love staying here
