A large walk through a tunnel like space. It is covered with glass on top and have multiple religious as well as jwellery, soft toys and pickle shops. This place is very much clean and well maintained. But sometimes the escalator doesn't works properly or is completely off. On the way towards dakhineswar definitely visit this once.
Amazing. No chaos no bad road no interrupts. But there is no good view. The shops are stacked with goods . The road became congested . The lifts arent working . The monkey and beggers all around following u is a bit awkward.
Very good place and safe to travels with friends and family. You will Get lots of many shop into skywalk. And can capture you good moment with family . There is help centre in skywalk and full security with CISF, for any queries ,they help you.
Under repairing so soon? escalators was not working, aged persons were suffering a lot. Walk way was clean and have nice shops.
A great example of an architecture. If you come out from the Dakshineswar metro station, the stairs will be infront. You can get a beautiful view of the sunset. And also the view of the Dakshineswar temple. Great feeling thought out. All those shop owners on the sky walk will drag you in inside to buy thali for puja.. that's everywhere so you can avoid it. Definitely you will enjoy the walk.
This skywalk is just awesome! The amount of stalls there is just something. The structure is also so good. This is critical for the place as there was a huge issue regarding the crowd around the busy road. There are 4 escalators, 2 on each side.
