Dakshin Veg Snacks - Palayam A small coffee shop which opens at 12pm. You have to take a token after making your order. The ambience in the shop is pretty minimal. Not much to look at, except for a giant mirror and the menu. Privacy is not guaranteed, considering the size of the shop and limited seats. I ordered one of their special variety dosa, the Garlic Cheese Dosa. The waiting time was not much, about 3 to 4 minutes. The staff were well behaved and the service was good. Cleanliness and the quality of the food were considerably better than other shops of this category. Although the menu was not very extravagant, the limited menu had good options in it. The dosa tasted really good. The sweetness of the burnt garlic and the coconut chutney made my mouth water. The dosa and cheese melted in my mouth, the crispness of the dosa made the experience even better. For a price of Rs. 120, I would say that this product was a bit overpriced. But considering the taste and the quality, I wouldn't mind buying another one of those dosas on my next visit. The coffee was not a game changer. If you've had bru coffee from Hotel Anhar, just 2 shops away, you wil not be impressed with the coffee here. The masala tea was good and had a different taste. Would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a quick and tasty bite. Ambience: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Taste:9/10

Veg hotel near KSRTC stand....it's been here for a long time...haven't change their way of service....food is good... ambience is average....cost is lil bit high...parking is a problem....air conditioned hall is also available...

Terrible experience. Had my dinner yesterday there. Upstairs ac hall is now closed. We ordered Dosa , veg biriyani , parota etc. Everything was horrible. We left most of them in the table and came back empty stomach. Food was pathetic. Have heard great about Dakshin few years back. Not anymore. From my experience, there are other vegeterian restaurants in walkable distance which is far better with good fresh food.

Very mediocre restaurant considering vegetarian dishes served here. Personally i do not prefer this spot for my dining... It cannot even be compared with "Suprabhatham" veg restaurent near calicut beach with respect to the quality and freshness of the cuisine being served...

Good small hotel with seating capacity of 20 people. Food was good, place is clean and hygienic. Located next to the private travels offices.
