I dined at the Dakshin restaurant located at the prestigious ITC Windsor property and unfortunately, I can only give it only one star. The food didn't stand out in any way; it was quite ordinary rather bland for the high price they charged. The non veg Thali will cost you around 3000 after taxes. The atmosphere lacked the special touch of the South I was hoping for, making the overall experience disappointing. In my opinion, it's a waste of money considering the lackluster dining experience. Will not recommend this to anyone.
We dined here for lunch and service was top notch by Mukhiya .Ambience and the background noise boasted of rich South Indian heritage . Tried the Sampoorna veg thali and each curry boasted an unique spices mix/flavor . No two curries were the same .Aapam was done to perfection . Almond halwa was delicious and so was the coconut kheer. What an amazing spread it was, worth every penny. My husband enjoyed his prawns and shrimp in South Indian flavors . Our mom's birthday cake was indulgent . Cocktail selection could have been better. Overall, enjoyed the fine dining experience for South Indian food .Highly recommended when in Bangalore.
Disappointed! We visited this place for my husband's birthday dinner. It was so unfortunate that we found a worm in Veg Stew. Though the staff were kind enough to consider changing the entire thali, we were disappointed to experience this in such an esteemed restaurant. Our celebrations were spoilt because of this experience!
Overall divine experience. We went as a group of 4 people of which there were 2 Italians, normally they have experienced always to eat North Indian with roti naan and tandoori dishes and so to change the flavour we chose Dakshin. It was a great experience for them to have a chance to taste South Indian cuisine. The variety in this restaurant is amazing. The quality of food taste and the service were superb as well. Puttu, Appam, Idiyappam and stew were too good. The final touch with badam halwa was top notch. Definitely recommend to try out the experience.
We had gone our for a family dinner and everything right from the Tamil style prawn to Masheer and even the cocktails were good. We had ordered Kerala fish curry, dry lamb and another fish dish along with appam and rice. Everything was well made and delicious.
After quite a very long time , i have finally been to Dakshin ITC Windsor , its my first time and to be honest i had the best time and as well the food was really delicious. The chef made sure all the food items was perfect and it sure was. We had south Indian Thali and really it was the best Thali that i had . Overall the food was really yummy and its a must try , do visit it you will keep visiting again and again .
Breakfast at Raj Pavilion at the ITC Windsor is luxurious and incomparable. You would be spoilt for choice. The spread has something for everyone, and offers healthy choices. The ambience is reminiscent of the British era. Their service is par excellence, and they make sure you enjoy your time there. I particularly enjoyed fresh fruit juice from the juice station and South Indian delicacies made to order. Everything was just perfect here.
Excellent ambience, Wonderful service, and Delectable food!! Dont get mislead by the name of the restaurant, as the food itself is not representative of the nation it contains in its title! HOwever the dishes were mind-blowing and capture the flavors of FRONTIER cuisine wonderfully. I've been always a bit nervous about indulging in decadent KEBABS, but the chefs here had whipped up high quality refined goodies, I couldn't stop eating. Both the Vegetarian options and the Non-veg dishes were excellent. Especially the Dal Bukhara was to die for!! And big thanks to Ankit who served us, and Mr.ASIF for being a delightful host and pampering us through the romantic dinner by the poolside. Certainly would go back here again!! Cheers!
Visited twice and food was amazing both the times. Friendly service. Reasonable pricing too. Looking forward to be a regular. They have home delivery service also. Rating 5/5
One of the older restaurants in south Bangalore. This is the original Brahmin's coffee Bar. Subsequently many places with same name have started in Bangalore though they are not related. Unlike most other places this restaurant has its own timing - 7
Best taste and service. It's one of my favourite places. Whenever we go to Yelahanka, this is the place we prefer to eat. I hope the employee name is Naveen, he suggests the best choice, listens carefully to the orders and serves as we desire. I reco

Amazing tasty food, clean place, affordable pocket friendly. There is a love counter below for Amazing Jalebi and Jamoon. Superb experience to have a nice Dosa, Idli, Vada or Kara bath.
Visited here on a Saturday morning. Was quite crowded. Famous spot for breakfast with limited yet tasty menu. We had their Ghee Masala Dosa and Idli Vada with chutney. The Masala Dosa was very crisp with good filling of potato bhajji. Idli Vada was a
