Crowd is mostly a mix bunch of office goers and locals during weekdays due to the close proximity to the offices nearby. Menu is the typical South Indian seafood fare along with Chinese and North Indian cuisine. The prices are slightly on the upper end but ok considering the ambience and the location of the restaurant. Bar is well stocked with your usual brands.
Update (Nov 2023):
Avoid ordering mocktails/cocktails as they don't know how they are done. Kababs can now be ordered in half (4 pieces) or full (8 pieces) portion wise, which is really good. Service is just ok and needs improvement. Most servers seem bored to do their job.
Fresh catch like surmai, pomfret and prawns are the go-to for those who relish seafood.
Overall, it is a decent recommendation for seafood cuisine.

Stumbled upon this place due to the amazing decor that they had in their entrance passage, looked so lit with the swing and the Christmas vibe all together. Decided to go heavy on mains this time since I was extremely hungry! We started off with the Dakshin special kebabs - 3 different types of tender juicy chicken so well marinated you'll be licking your fingers.
Later decided to go for the chicken tikka biryani and chicken gravy with neer dosa. The Biryani was definitely the highlight, quantity is a lot and just so well made, you'll not wanna stop eating this at all. The neer dosa was super good too, worth it overall. Definitely recommend you to dine in here, go for it!
Visited Dakshin bar and kitchen with my family recently. Loved the vibe, ambience and food. For starters we ate Veg Kinale and Hari Mirch prawns. Both are a must try! For main course we tried their Malabar chicken gravy with appam, that's our personal favourite now. For drinks we ordered Virgin mojito and Mojito Blue lagoon and we ended it all with Brownie with ice cream for dessert. We sure had a great time!

We had.. starter-veg Crispy,veg kinale, cheese corn balls, main course-Paneer Tikka masala and butter naan.. awesome taste.. Paneer was properly roasted...taste 4.5/5, Ambiance 5/5.staff is also humble.
Food and service were great. The smoking area is much bigger than non-smoking. For that reason, I don't think it's very family friendly.
Dakshin Bar & Kitchen is well known for its great service and friendly staff.The spectacular interior design and comfortable ambiance make you feel relaxed here. Nice place to chill out with your friends and family. Do try their Mouthwatering butter chicken, fish tikka and garlic prawns. We ordered chicken crispy and neer dosa with chicken curry couldn't find a better combination it was really yummy loved it. If you are near by would recommend to visit once you cannot find better place than this
