Iwent to this place with my family and really loved the place because they have all types of malvani food beat fish, crab or chicken and even the veg dishes are amazingly delicious I had tried: 1. Kombadi vade thali 2. Chicken dum biryani 3. Chicken pakode 4. Crab thali 5. Chicken lollipop 6. Gulab jamun 7. Surmai fry 8. Pomfret fry Out of all these dishes I loved the Kombadi vade thali and I tried it for the 2st time and I really loved the taste. Let me tell you about service because that Kaka is so helpful and even guided us for all the best dishes. Ratings Taste: 5/5 Quality: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Everything is just so cool even though the place is small but it will win your heard with food.

Dainik malwani must be the 5th malwani restaurant I have visited in recent times.Though a small place it's loaded with ample variety to cater to your hunger and taste buds.Went there with a group of friends and was pleasantly surprised to see the menu card.It has almost everything one can think of when it comes to malwani food.The taste is good and the quantity is really good .If you order half handi it will suffice 3/4 people.In starters we had the crab stick lobster stick( deep fried and yummy) kids will love this.Surmai and pomfret tawa fry are awesome.The crab thali is the show stealer.The crab is so well done you might just start missing your mom .The mutton handi,prawns curry are bang on taste. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving for some costal food.

This is the place where u can enjoy delicious sea food with the taste of malwan. Non veg lovers will like this place. We ordered Starters - Chicken lollipop and lobster bite. Lollipop were very tasty and crispy. Lobster bite was something we tried new and we liked the taste. Main course Gavthi Chicken masala thali and Prawns biryani. Thali was very tasty enough and preparation of biryani was authentic. Dessert Gulabjaam was fresh and soft. Service and Staff Service was prompt and staff was friendly. They suggested good menu for us. Overall Food quality was good. All orders was served hot and was fresh.

Dainik Malvani one of the most nicest place to have sea food in Thane west at Charai. Just a perfect place to have a sea food restaurant because, thats the busiest area and one of the food restaurant was much needed here. Ive been here for lunch with my friends, and lemme tell you that ive had the most amazing time here, i just had the nicest sea food and it was just what a expected. Ambience is nice and sweet and has a nice comfortable cushion and chair seating. Now talking about the food here, it was just mind boggling. Right from the starters to the desserts at the end. Ive just had a tummy full of experience. Ive had some of the following dishes. Drinks: Kokam Sarbat & Pann Starters: Crab Lollipop Surmai Tawa Fry Pomfret Fry Bombil Fry Lobster Bite Mains: Bangda Thali Teesrya Thali Chicken Sukha Thali Desserts: Gulabjaamun. Just lemme tell you about all these: Bombil Tawa Fry: Was nicely deep fried and served freshly, this was too yumm and spicy Prawns fry: Mixed with nice masala over small pieces of praws which was deep fried and served. Lobster Bite: Amazing choppings of lobster ina small circular patter where served which were quite worth the have. Crab Lollipop: The most recommended and amazingly fried like a lollipop, crab lollipop is a amazing one that you will have here in dainik malvani. Quite enough in quantity for two people Mains: Bangda Fish Thali: Seved with Tandalachi, Bhakri Fish Curry, Bangda fish and solkadi. Chicken Sukha Thali: Served with amazing Kombdi wade, fish curry, boiled egg and solkadi. Teesrya thali was too good, and something very different than the usual regular fish dishes. At last to end my meal ive ordered a Gulabjaam. Which was cold and the yummiest way to end my lunch feast. All and all ive had an amazing experiece here at Dainik Malvani. Thane city has now become a authentic place to have sea food. And also the service by the entire staff was upto the mark. They were just quite quick and recommended us some good stuffs to have here. Dainik Malvan is located in Charai at Thane. The place is relatively small and cater to about 25-30 people at full capacity. The place specialises in Malvani cuisine. The interiors are thoughtfully done to compliment the Malvani theme. They have a large variety in non veg and sea food. We being a big group ordered a little bit of everything : Starters / Appetisers Alu vadi Fries Pompfret fry Surmai fry Lobster bites Bombil fry Chicken pakoda Prawns Fry Crab Lollipop Main course Crab thali Chicken thali Mutton Thali Tisarya Thali Chicken Biryani Prawns Biryani Desert Gulab jamun The overall food quality was good. The Thalis are quite filling. The lobster bites and crab lollipops were the pick of the day.The preparation time is quick. A worthy recommendation to all coastal and Malvani food enthusiasts.

Dainik Malvani is Situated in thane. This place is very close to the thane railway station. This place is famous for seafood. My friend suggested this place to me. As we wanted to try Malvani seafood. Coming to the place. Place is not that big but around 18-20 can be easily seated. They have variety of Thalis. We asked the server. Who was very kind and generous he suggest their famous and special dishes from their menu. So food that we ordered. 1- alu vadi- alu vadi was very fresh. It had the perfect tangy flavour and bit of spicy. 2- lobster bite- amazing tasty. Crispy from outside and soft from inside. 3- crab Lollypop- I just loved this dish. So crispy and fresh. 4- bombil fry- perfectly cooked bombil with Malvani masala. Must try dish. 5- chicken thali- chicken thali had Malvani chicken, solkadi and 1 boiled egg and famous komdi wade which was very authentic in taste. 6- crab thali- crab thali was begin served with amboli, crab Rassa. Crabs were really fresh, along with sokat and solkadi. MUST TRY DISH 7- prawns biryani- perfect long grains of Basmati rice with amazing Indian masala. One of the best prawns biryani I had. So starting with location of this restaurant, it's about 2km from thane station. As it been located near Talo Pali. As we proceed towards the Restaurant, we experienced a pleasant smell of something DELICIOUS being cook inside the restaurant. Because of pleasant smell we can't control our hunger for longer Time. Finally we entered and hold on the place to sit. Seeing it from outside, place will look very conjested but it is not so. Place is very well utlized and around 20- 22 people can easily accommodate. Staff & Services - Parth Sawant (Owner) helped and suggested us their best dishes. We were satisfied having those. Talking about the Food we ordered to feed the hunger- 1. Crab Lollipop - It was a unique dishes for us. Also the taste was awesome & it's lingering now also. 2. Pompfret fry - A usual dish, but the fish was well marinated & cooked well to Taste. 3. Surmai Fry - A perfect starter dish along with Schezwan chutney. Must try. 4. Chicken Wade Thali - In this, we got Kombdi Wade along with chicken and gravy. A quite good combination to relish the Taste. 5. Crab Thali - In this we got a whole Crab, it was well cooked & quite alluring. Thali was photogenic also we greatly enjoyed the Taste. 6. Chicken Biryani - As always the Biryani is Love. Sweet End- 1. Gulab Jamun - All time favourite . 2. Shrikand Final Conclusion - Overall This place 'DAINIK MALVANI' is pleasant which you won't regret. A big Fat thumbs-up for this place and hoping for best Food served next time also.
