A really good place for having lunch and dinner. Typical Bengali thali is available here. You can also taste a variety of veg foods here. Very busy from 7 pm to 9 pm. Service is also ok. But you have to wait a little more to get your dish. The taste is fabulous. If you are a Bengali, then this hotel is a must visit for you.
Very good place for Bengali lunch and dinner . The quality of rice and ghee is just awesome. But quality of Alu posto and posto bora deteriorating. Overall good place for Bengali food.
We went here for lunch and the guy at the counter was extremely helpful. When he knew we were from u.p. he tried to offer us the u.p. menu but we insisted on having something different and we did. He served us a pure Bengali lunch thali. Unlimited in 300rs. The only backdrop that I found at that time was that the food was cold. other than that Everything was good.

I went there last night with my parents .Experience for the foods its ok ok. For a complite Veg Thali it contain Rice ,Dal,ALu Kari,papad,dhoka,bitter chutney rs: 80.But it's too busy and crowded hotel.
ABSOLUTE CHEATS. Boycott them. They claim they are the original DADA BOUDI - but I have grave doubts. A vegetarian lunch of rice, dal and posto for two persons cost Rs 440/-. The price would have been justified had the quality and quantity been okay. Neither is the quality nor quantity commensurate with the price. We ordered ALU POSTO. It cost Rs 150/-. But there was absolutely no posto in it. Just boiled potatoes in a curry of red chilly and mustard paste. When I confronted the chap who took the order, he scampered off. A bowl of watery dal, really watery with hardly any trace of dal in it costs Rs 100/-. What they call CHATNI is a small tea spoon, half the size of the tea spoon that we use, doling out watery tamarind water - anything but certainly not chatni. Even the papad that is served is a 2 inch x 2 inch piece. The normal thali which costs Rs 80/- just does not satisfy one's hunger - such is the quantity. And we Bengalis, eager for a Bengali lunch or dinner go to this place to be fleeced. Please spread the word around to boycott this food joint.
Good location but dirty room and bed , the dustbin wasn't cleaned in my 2 day stay and the toilet was nasty. It was 1200 a day but didn't even match that expectations. It was NON-AC. And whenever we went out of the room they closed the electricity supply of that room which made me suffer because my mobile was plugged in the room. Overall if you need it just for night and will be out all day then you maybe able to adjust Thanks.
