Highest possible rating for this tailor and cloth shop! I've had quite a few articles of clothing made by them. Every piece is excellent, refined, and superb! The owner of the shop, Umang Vaish, is friendly, easy to deal with and very professional. Top quality cloth, beautiful colors, highest quality tailoring, reasonable prices, high end clothing creations - five stars!
It is always a wonderful experience shopping at D. Vaish. The tailoring is top notch, the fabric selection's are excellent and the service is courteous and responsive. Umang Vaish always greets and serves as a great friend. I would recommend them to anyone looking for first class tailoring.
Usual quality. In case you make your suit here check the final product very properly. The seller will tell you that this is their best work, brilliant etc. Even if your suit has an obvious problem you will not be told abot it. The Tailoring has a good collection of fabric.
I was in India for the first time and I was recommended to visit this tailor shop for tailored clothing. This was also the first time I had a custom made suit, and I was indeed quite skeptical about the quality and time needed to make one. Umang made me feel at home and walked me through the process. Within a week and one fitting, my perfect three piece suit was made (actually three of them). The price and quality is unbelievable, especially coming New York. I already have plans on future design to be made through D.Vaish and Sons. I highly recommend checking these guys out if you are in town for a few weeks and looking to get some high quality tailored clothing made by very experienced and humble people!
I have switched over to bespoke clothing since 2012.I have gotten a lot of custom clothing made by different vendors so I am not new to the process. This was my first experience at D.VAISH AND SONs. Mr.Umang Vaish who is at the forefront of this enterprise is the 3rd generation continuing this legacy forward and has added contemporary design styles which are in tune with the latest fashion trends. As expected they provide a wide variety of fabric at various price points to choose from. The choices range from domestic to very high end imported fabric. The experience and expertise in design quality and tailoring shines through in the end product. To encompass a well rounded review I got a shirt , trousers and a sports jacket stitched and I am NOT disappointed by any. The sport coat deserves a special mention. Mr.Vaish has the knowledge depth to make very valid suggestions on fabric type, color, quality. You can tell he is a veteran. The rest of the staff are well trained, courteous and super polite. I will highly recommend this place and I would most definitely go back when I am shopping next for clothes.
Been a loyal customer of Umang Vaish since 2011. Every time I visit Delhi I get something done at their shop and their quality of work has been consistently excellent. Great range of fabrics and overall exquisite service. Mr.Vaish also travels abroad for tailoring work so be sure to sign up for his mailing list to see when he might be near you! Highly recommended!
I have been having my suits made by D. Vaish and Sons over the past 10 years. Not only do the suits fit me perfectly but they are designed to be contemporary, comfortable and stylish. I met Umang when I was in New Delhi over 10 years ago and we have been friends ever since. He always has the latest and stylish fabrics. He travels all over the world now and I am fortunate enough for him to travel to Chicago. He keeps my measurements, which haven't changed over the years on file so if there is a particular fabric I want him to make a suit from, I just let him know since he has my measurements and he will make it and send it to me. In addition he makes the best Egyptian cotton dress shirts. His pricing for suits is so reasonable that people think I am wearing a $5000 suit. I highly recommend D. Vaish and Sons for all your tailor needs.
I am a NRI settled in South Africa. Visit to D Vaish and Sons, in Delhi was a wonderful experience indeed. I knew about this place when I was a student, but that was before ready made clothes were the norm. I rediscovered Bespoke tailoring again recently through D.Vaish and sons. Mr. Umang Vaish personally took my measurements and also helped throughout the trial process. Material available in store is of excellent quality and the tailoring cannot be compared. The result is a suit, 4 trousers and 2 shirts--impeccably tailored. Invariably commented upon by my friends,whenever I wear them. At these times, I do not stop talking about D.Vaish and Sons, especially to my other NRI friends. And the best part, it is pretty afforadable, by any standards. Will be going back very soon for more suits and trousers!
