The D'mello house is an intriguing place with a blend of Portuguese architecture. I love the block print tiles and the symmetrical windows that add to its visual appeal. However, it is unfortunate to hear that the house has been abandoned for years and is rumored to be haunted. According to the rumor, the haunting is linked to a tragic event involving two brothers who resided in the house. It is said that one of the brothers did not have a child, while the other brother did. As jealousy and power consumed one of the brothers, he allegedly murdered his niece. This horrific act is believed to have cursed the property, leading to strange occurrences and negative experiences for those who attempt to buy it. It's important to note that rumors and urban legends often develop around abandoned or mysterious places, and they can vary greatly in accuracy and credibility. It's always wise to approach such stories with skepticism unless there is concrete evidence to support them.

In Santemol , Goa , there's an abandoned house which no one wants to buy. If there's one place where you shouldn't be tricking or treating , it's THE D'MELLO HOUSE in Goa. It is said this house is haunted by the spirit of one Brother , who died quarreling over the ancestral property with another. Locals said that one brother killed the other one after a heated argument. At night forceful quarrel, the sound of screaming emanates from the house. Incidents reported by victim's: Many paranormal occurrences like strange noises like falling of an object , loud crying and outbursts , unusual breaking of window glasses and evil screaming at midnight are also heard by locals from his possessed house. If you're an explorer of haunted places then D'mello house will give you the best satisfaction. one of the fascinating thing- there are lots of windows and doors. All the windows of the places are shattered, the only way to explore the house - stairs are broken, there are several sentences and quotes are written on the walls of the house. The scariest thing is a well in the backyard with thorny trees grown all over it.

Basically the remains of a nice old bungalow from the Portuguese time. It has history and hence the name hainted. I really wish the place is renovated as in a few more years there will be nothing to see.

Loved this place. Although i found a headless lady there who was intimating at first but turns out she's really nice and now we usually play Minecraft together. 10/10 experience 10/10 ambience I'm interested in knowing if this property is up for sale and if yes then how much is the listing price?

Guys pls don't visit this place hence it has a curse it may effects on PPL who's visits.... It's my personal opinion

Most beautifully designed and crafted house i have seen. If restored it can be the best house in the area. Sadly the owners had shifted residence and there was no one to maintain it. It's an architectural marvel. A lot has gone into designing and seeing it up.

Note - I advise you not to visit this place. D'mello house goa story: It seems that one night, the fight escalated to a level wherein one of the brothers killed the other one. After a few days, the second brother died, too. Since then the passers-by and the people who live nearby claim to hear strange sounds. and for instance, blood-curdling and screams from the D'Mello House. After the death of these two brothers, the relatives tried to take possession of the property. However, the entire family died in a tragic car accident. The other family members are not interested in taking possession as they say that the property is cursed. Meanwhile, shrieks, falling of loud objects, goosebumps on the body, and the atmosphere around that place. In fact, it has just made people understand that there exist spirits. The house was so uniquely built that over time it became a spot where a lot of people went to visit. The stories of the villages scared a few but at the same time knowing it's a haunted place.
