CVM House, Sankaramangalam, Thiruvalla - Home Stay in Thiruvalla - Pathanamthitta, India

We planned a trip to the southern part of Kerala to witness the famed Aranmula Boat race. As my family has spent very little time in Kerala, this was of novelty to them. We chose CVM house for our stay as the property was very close to Aranmula. The Property was of a welcome surprise to us. It was a symphony of the old world charm and modern comforts well balanced producing notes of bliss, so here is to a great home full of warmth; In ethereal glow plenilune, the age-ol' edifice stands, Its vintage walls adorned with history's hands. Whispering secrets of a bygone age, In every creak and echoed heritage. within these weathered gates expect, Where time's gentle touch with memory debates. antiquity weaves its tale upon the stone, A testament to pleasures of a home. The mansion- inamorata, a silent crone, Holding within its history's stage. A masterpiece of forgotten lore, Each brick and board, an immortal saga In the stillness, lore's come alive The essence of yesteryears takes wings. The ol' mansion in lunar light, a timeless art, A symphony played by the tranquil gleams, A memoir etched in my heart.

Traditional Kerala house amidst the heart of Thiruvalla. I had booked for my engagement. Rooms well lit and spacious. Luscious green, clean and well maintained garden. The staff was very courteous.

I had booked CVM house for my sister in law's engagement. It was booked for 10 days. My parents and my in laws absolutely enjoyed their stayed in this property. They loved how well they had preserved the house keeping in mind its heritage and vintage value. All basic necessities were available. Two caretakers were present whenever the guests needed them. Kitchen is well equipped. Working wi-fi. Spacious rooms. Big lawn to arrange any family function. Looking forward to booking this property for her marriage function. Me and my husband can't wait to enjoy our stay at the CVM house.

CVM House hosted us for the Baptism Celebration of my little one. Our first preference was an outdoor location which could accommodate about 100 people and it should be well within the city centre with easy access and parking. CVM House in that manner was the most apt location. The lush green lawn along with the comfy retro-modern stay adds an unique theme and ambiance. The entire experience was fantastic. Each and everyone the guests, family and dear ones enjoyed the event. The staffs needs special mention, they are always there at arms length for all needs.

Amazing and aesthetically pleasing property! We booked out the house in June for my wedding. The house and its grounds were well maintained. Helpful and friendly staff oversee the activities of the house. We were able to celebrate the wedding eve with family by renting out the adjoining extension called CHARTHU. Great place for pictures, comfortable stay and peace. Conveniently located near Max store and other essential stores.

We stayed at CVM house for 21 days. Traditional Kerala house with all facilities helped us to relax. Staff Sasi and Sunil were courteous and helpful! Location was convenient for us. Friends and family could come and visit us there. We could bring our own cook to do the cooking as per our liking. We conducted our granddaughter's baptism after party in the backyard of the house. Well maintained and beautiful backyard with jack fruit tree, 'anjili', nutmeg etc. Lovely place for an outdoor celebration! Overall it was great experience!

In February 2021, we stayed around a week at CVM House, Thiruvalla in connection with our son's wedding. We enjoyed our stay there and it has become a part of our beautiful memory as the wedding reception was also conducted at the CVM Lawn. The CVM House is a palatious one with all the modern amenities as good as any five star hotel, but at the same time keeping the old traditions and ancestral looks alive. The staffs are available round the clock for any assistance and are very cordial and helpful. The lawn is very spacious and well maintained and a perfect venue for a gathering of upto 200 people. We stayed at CVM house for 8 nights and it was perfect. Gorgeous house with great facilities. House have couple of caretakers and they were very helpful. We stayed there because of my wedding and everything went great. My family and I'll be back every time we are in Kerala. We had one small inconvenience (no wifi for 8 days and it was brutal). Hopefully the wifi is up and running. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.
