Curries Bar & Restaurant - Goan restaurant in Calangute, Saligao - North Goa, India

Good open place with sufficient parking, took a little while till someone approached to check your requirements, but thats okay! tried a chicken sizzler, which was not sizzling as it was served on a plate, taste was just okay. The Goan beef chilli too was mediocre. What disappointed me most was the fish thali, taste was very poor and apart from the rice the other portions were served in teeny weeny containers, the fish curry, fried kingfish was not anywhere like what I have tasted in other places. However the cocktails and mocktails were priced well, served in right glasses and were good.

The food is really amazing, authentic Goan speciality, we had chorriso pulav , steak and Goan pork sausage chilly and we loved it . Ambience is good with light music, it's a different vibe all together here. The staff here is too good and very hospitable.

A nice to place to come with friends and relax has very nice drinks and food quality is also good and tasty and the staffs are very cooperative and nice also has nice ambience

I have to start with the food because it was soooo yummy. The chicken steak and beef steak were the stars. It's a must try if you visit here. Everything is decent priced. The fried rice and chilly chicken were great. Lemon chicken was a little too sour for my taste but it was good too. The only thing I would want to suggest is that don't bring the dishes one by one. Our chilly chicken got over before the chapati or the fried rice arrived. And we couldn't order anymore as the kitchen got closed. Other than that they have a open roofed main area of the restaurant and an open air beautiful place on the side. There's a snooker table there as well. Great place to chill.

Tried the prawns and fish thali and we loved it. Also tried the rava fish fry and Goan chicken curry and everything was so delicious and tasty. The ambience is good and the staff is polite and courteous. Overall we had a nice experience and the food was really fulfilling as we were looking for some Goan food.

If you are looking for a peaceful dine near baga, this place is the one. Good variety of seafood as well as continental. Good quality food at a reasonable price.

We visited for a lunch on 23rd October, 2023 and had fish thali (With Pomfret), prawn fry, butter garlic chicken and egg fried rice. Food was very good and staff is also very polite. Enjoyed the ambience amidst nature.

Currys - so true to it's name. Be assured that u will taste one of the best Currys at Currys... Relished the goan thali, beef steak and mojito. Very nice garden restaurant. Great ambience. The owner Shaunak is very friendly and hospitable. He will make u feel at home. They even have live music on certain days of the week to keep u entertained.
