Arrived early at our destination because that day was "at our leisure". Come to find out, the airport transfer we were given we had to wait for 7 other passengers from other flights. Waited at the airport for 3 hours for everyone. Wasted the morning. Other members from our group had flight issues and didn't arrive until late that evening. Rep never answered the phone to help them arrange pick up. They had the itinerary update too so they knew. Members had to pay for their own taxi from the airport. No communication from the other rep at our second location either despite many phone calls and text messages. Transfer at that location was rough as well with poor communication. Again at our last location no communication with the rep despite them saying yes of course message us with any questions! Husband and I almost arranged separate taxi on our way back to the airport at the end as we were worried they wouldn't show up at all! Thankfully they did and it was ok but we were concerned all night! Group itineraries at the location were not shared with our travel agent until our arrival in-country. Many hours lost for transfers which I understand is inevitable but it was not very clear when booking how many hours would be lost. Felt we were practically living out of our luggage with not much down time to relax. Just something to think about when booking. Would not use this company again just on the basis itself of lack of communication. That's the last thing you want when you're trying to vacation!

In 2020, just before Covid, did a 2.5 mo long private tour of India covering almost 28 cities. Culture Holidays organized the whole trip - it so well organized that over the 2.5 mo we had not a single glitch in the daily travel, with local guides in every city making sure we saw everything worthwhile in the time we had. There was one instant where we wanted a newer van to take us from Pune to Aurangabad. The request was made around 8pm at night, a brand new van was waiting for us next morning. This was service over and beyond. We will soon be doing a 2mo long S. India trip with them based on our previous experience.

For my 40th birthday I decided to book the Explore Egypt package along with my best friend. Arriving in Cairo at 1 a.m., we were greeted by Mohamed who secured our luggage, presented us with welcome gifts and escorted us to our hotel. The next day, he picked us up and connected us with our tour guide, Minar. Minar was a wonderfully knowledgeable guide who led us around the pyramids at Giza as well as through the Egyptian Museum. She was friendly and shared a lot of information. Upon arrival in Aswan we were greeted by our tour guide for the next few days Abanoub. Abanoub was our guide as we cruised up the Nile from Aswan to Luxor. Making various stops along the way, my best friend and I learned that Abanoub is a very knowledgeable guide. It was quickly made very clear that he takes his job seriously. He keeps you engaged by asking questions and throwing in "quizzes" to help you "connect the dots" with each site visited. Each day he gave us an overview of the itinerary and also asked if there were other things we'd like to see or do. As a special bonus, Abanoub was a photographer extraordinaire who took amazing pictures and videos with our phones. He made us feel like models at each location and helped capture so many beautiful moments. Every airport assistant, every driver, every guide that we encountered helped make my Egyptian experience an excellent adventure that I will remember for a lifetime!
