I am so privileged to see another historical church and preach the word if God to a group of pastors in this church. This church had the baptism of first five protestant baptisms in entire India. Also it is the church that hosted the first initiation of uniting Lutheran, Methodist and Anglican Church representatives to make a Ecumenical church named Church of South India (CSI). It has also the seed of great men of God who dedicated their lives for the Lord. I give Glory to the Lord for people like them who served selflessly.
Built in 1701 by the Danish, who ruled Tranquebar for more than 200 years. Located close to the beach near the Danish Fort. Infact, all the possible locations for visit in Tranquebar are located within 1 kilometre of the Fort. Couldn't enter the Zion Church as it was closed when we were visiting.
